The Chuluaqui Quodoushka (CHOO-la-kway Kwuh-DOE-shka) is a set of New Age teachings on sex which are claimed by Harley Reagan to be handed down from a variety of ancient cultures such as the Olmecs, the Mayans, and the Toltec. Some people say the Quodoushka Shamanic Teachings and the marketing of sacred sexuality practices of Native Americans are not only fake but an insult. We hope to provide both sides of the story for your consideration.

In the first half hour we welcome Native American poet, Mark Turcotte who spent his earliest years on North Dakota’s Turtle Mountain Chippewa Reservation and in the migrant camps of the western United States. Mark is author of four poetry collections, including The Feathered Heart and Exploding Chippewas. He is currently serving as Visiting Native Writer at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe.

In the second half hour we welcome Quodoushka initiate and teacher, Amara Charles. She has been active in Chuluaqui Quodoushka teachings for more than 15 years. On December 12 she will host a free introduction to Quodoushka in Phoenix through her organization, Nourishing Arts.
