Call in to speak with the host
In a career spanning 35 years, Leonard Pitts, Jr. has been a columnist, a college professor, a radio producer and a lecturer. But if you ask him to define himself, he will invariably choose one word. He is a writer, period.
A Pulitzer Prize recipient, Pitts has penned a syndicated column of commentary on pop culture, social issues and family life for the Miami Herald since 1994. His book, Becoming Dad: Black Men and the Journey to Fatherhood, was released in May, 1999 and was reissued in paperback in June of 2006. His critically-acclaimed first novel, Before I Forget, was released in 2009 and a collection of his columns, Forward From This Moment, was published that same year.
Join us Saturday at 8 pm EST as we sit down with the writer, the multi-award winner, and the man behind the pen. Tell a friend to tell a friend to tell a friend about us, and we'll see you all Saturday night.
It's good to talk.
