This is a laborious task, the files are often difficult to find on BlogTalk if there are a lot of them, and it doesn't work if the hosts PC has frozen up. The method I'm using here is to call in from a 2nd line (a Magic Jack* attached to a PC) and choose headphone input. From there it's easy enough to run a line from the stereo output of a tablet or any other sound ouput device directly into the mic port on the computer, and from there to the show. Voila! Call in to host the show on your regular phone (I use my cell phone with headset) and call in as an on the air guest using your MagicJack. Now talk and have other callers online too... and use your sound effects whenever you feel the need! You're done! No files uploaded and you're in complete "live studio" control of what gets played through your tablet, smart phone or whatever other sound producing device you have hooked up to your computer's microphone input. * NOTE: Magic Jack: You have to buy prepaid minutes at http://my.magicjack.com/prepaid/ to use Magic Jack with Blog Talk. Apparently conference calls and "platforms" aren't covered in the basic Magic Jack annual fee. But 1,612 minutes for $10 plus tax for the MagicJack to work with BlogTalkRadio isn't bad since it's only charged during such calls. 00:16:00SEORadionostreaming sound effects, tablet to pc to magicjack, blogtalk and magicjack, aux sound to blog talk radio, making internet radio sound professionalUsually when people think of adding sound effects to the BlogTalkRadio service they think of making and uploading mp3's or wav files & then selecting them fromSEO RADIO - THERE IS NO SHAMEhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/seoradio/2011/11/09/seo-radio--there-is-no-shameBusinesshttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/seoradio/2011/11/09/seo-radio--there-is-no-shame/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/seoradio/2011/11/09/seo-radio--there-is-no-shameWed, 09 Nov 2011 04:00:00 GMTSEO RADIO - THERE IS NO SHAME Everyone's got it. A lot of the information here may surprise you. Many businesses are very hard to optimize and aren't worth the money if you're unprepared to go all out. Other businesses' web sites can be optimized and begin earning big bucks in a shorter period of time for less. But there's always a way. Sometimes, if you don't have the budget, then it just requires a lot more time and effort on your part to get things going. Remember though, the effects of optimization can easily be cumulative and continue benefitting you for many years if you do it right. What's right? That's where this show comes in and the advice I and many other SEOs and web mareters etc can give out here on this show. 00:31:00SEORadionosearch engine optimization, web marketing, pay per click, press releases, conversion formsThis is a half hour call-in show to help businesses find out more about what it takes to make a site that works. This show is all about Twitter is the place most SEOs congregate, follow one another, post useful articles and communicate while working every day. Businesses interested in search engine optimization (SEO) or search engine marketing (SEM) are usually confused by the conflicting information they're hearing and reading about what search engine optimization is. The reason for this may be that the local webmaster is claiming to understand SEO but doesn't, that the business has dealt with scam artists misleading claims, or that the business owner(s) simply have little technical understanding in the area of networking and the web. This show is here to address those issues so our (the guest SEOs who call in as well as myself) listeners can get some good advice. Copywriting, marketing, web usability, web forms, back links, article submission, press releases, on page optimization, web analytics, social media. Technical areas like .htaccess files, robots.txt and 301 redirects are also covered in our talks. 00:22:00SEORadionoSEO,search engine optimization, pay per click marketing, web marketing, copywritingI'm David Curtis, a professional search engine optimizer full time for the past four years, but one who has been learning SEO for the past seven.
