All About You, Story Circle and Senior Talk Radio are all great shows.

Barry Rickert

This is the only radio show that is dedicated to listening to what our senior population has to say. Why, because, we have been there, we have done it. We are the people that have hit a few home runs and, just like the famous Babe Ruth, we have had our share of strikeouts. Stay tuned, learn from our successes, learn from our failures. Our rose colored glasses have long ago faded to grey. We see most issues as being black or white. No we are not talking race we are talking about right and wrong, wise and foolish. When we were young we had opinions too. The difference between our opinions now and then is that now they are based upon experience. Many kids do not have parents or grandparents that they can freely talk with, so here is your format. Think of our our Radio show like an adoption center. Here and now is your chance to adopt a grandparent or grandchild. Even if it is just for a few minutes. We are not here to convince you of anything or judge you. We simply care about you as a person; we wish to fully respect your opinions too. Some of our seniors in this audience have lived through the great depression years, WWII, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam, several recessions, many political campaigns and regimes, some have celebrated 30-40-50 and even 60 years of marriage, and some have experienced a few divorces, a bankruptcy and a few have become extremely financially successful. So, with a large audience of seniors, you younger people, might just listen in too. You can ask us for our perspectives, our experiences and our suggestions without fear of repercussions. We only want to help if we can. Of course, you need to remember that like anything FREE, our advice is worth what you have paid, but hey if you like it use it, if you don’t then it is your call. We are not professionals, we are just people who care about our families, our kids our grandkids and our country and church.
