What do you do when life deals you a devastating blow that highlights your immortality? Our guest is Kathy Fieler.
Kathy Fieler, Cancer Survivor
Kathy is a two-time breast cancer survivor who was working as a personal trainer, helping other cancer survivors, when stricken the first time. Disbelief and a feeling of betrayal led her through the five stages of grief pretty quickly: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
And when reaching the end of that journey she decided to follow her personal mantra: "Today, make someone smile. Make a difference. Make someone think of you for the rest of their life." So she continued helping and inspiring survivors of cancer and other illnesses, as well as other people, to regain their physical strength and find their inner fortitude.
