Ed Parker Jr. grew up among the stars. His father, "Founder of American Kenpo", Ed Parker Sr, was the martial arts teacher to celebrities, including Elvis Presley.
JR’s youth focused on studying art and theater, then at age 19 he moved to Arizona, doing social work as a missionary with the Navajo, Hopi, Zuni, Southern Ute, and Jicarilla Apache tribes.
Since his father's death in 1990, Ed Parker Jr. hasbeen instrumental in keeping the Kenpo legacy alive through teaching, lectures, seminars and other martial arts events. Currently Ed Jr. is a freelance illustrator and graphic artist, and is dedicating his talents to the drawing of a tribute to the legacy of his father and Kenpo karate. E
