If your life or business is feeling too small, or like way too much hard work, or it never quite gets fun enough to actually get deeply enthusiastic about, or you are bored, it's time to ask some different questions!
One of the truths of the universe is 'ask and you shall receive'; and for most of us, the reason we aren't receiving much is because we actually aren't asking for much!!
We've settled into the habits of 'making do', 'settling for what we have' and asking for tiny things because that's all we think we deserve.
Not exactly an invitation for living a beautiful, bigger, more brilliant life is it? In this show, we're going to play with the creative act of asking... how to ask, what to ask for, what to expect, and how to create far beyond what you can imagine, by asking for things that don't even exist yet! Yes... it's possible... that's how change is created in the world!
I've been playing with this in my businesses in some very different ways lately... and I'm so excited to share with you some of the surprises that are showing up!
If you have questions for this show, please scroll to the bottom of the page and add them there - I'll check in before the show. Have a great week!! Lisa

6 Weeks To Revenue! Week #3 - Building Your List? Here are 25 Ideas! Sometimes you just have to prospect. While it’s true that networking, referrals, and other relationship-oriented marketing strategies are far superior ways to build a professional services business in the long run, the problem can lie in that word “long.” It takes time to build a network and generate referrals. If you’re a new business owner, you are tackling a new niche market or your pipeline has dried up, you may not feel as if you can wait for those budding relationships to mature. Launching a prospecting campaign can produce several useful results beyond the obvious one generating new clients. Prospecting will get you into action immediately. If you’re writing letters and making calls, you will feel proactive and productive instead of disheartened and stuck. The information you discover and contacts you make will suggest many new possibilities for marketing your services. And you’ll gain valuable experience in what works and what doesn’t when pitching your business. Here are 25 ways to start building a prospect list and accelerate your marketing today. Search for your own name on google.com and check out the first page of results. Try your company name as well. Don’t look for your own website, but look for other websites that mention your name for some reason. Can you find websites that talk about the quality of you or your company? Are there complaints or insults anywhere? Are there messages or profiles published that wish were not showing up online?

Credibility is the key to a successful small business. It impacts vendor relationships as well as client relationships. Credibility is similar to a credit score if you think about it. When you have it, everyone wants to work with you. When you don't have it, you lose opportunities frequently without even realizing it. In the real world, credibility is typically spread with word-of-mouth conversation. It is also handled with services such as the Better Business Bureau. No one wants to have complaints or other negative feedback. In the online world, people use social media, complaint sites, review sites, etc. The number of ways for people report their feedback are more plentiful, but even more importantly, those remarks are enduring. Some comments or reviews maybe live for years online. That is both good and bad, depending on the types of remarks that are out there. Managing the balance of good remarks and bad remarks is the critical element. Let's just assume someone will say something bad about you online someday. Justified, unjustified, true, or false. Doesn't matter. A negative remark gets posted online somewhere. It will likely last for years. What's the true impact of that remark? If well written and believable, it can be devastating. There are a few ways you can help reduce the impact of this type of problem. Read more... http://www.stevenkaylive.com/article.php?id=360
6 Weeks To Revenue! Week #2 - Don’t Spill Your Jelly Beans!
By Bertrand McHenry and Dirk Cummins
In the sales game, many deals are lost at the very beginning because the seller violated a cardinal rule: Don't spill your jelly beans in the lobby. Meaning, don't be so eager to share your expertise for free. Many sales consultants, eager to please and build credibility, fall into the trap of diagnosing a potential buyer's "what if" problems before they really understand the issues involved.
Invariably, this bad start leads to unpaid consulting because your suspect-buyer controls the relationship. Euphemistically, the struggle for control of the relationship is known as the buyer-seller dance.
