Adra Young, a native of Gary, Indiana, is not your typical educator. Having a desire to act, she took her first shot within the performance arena at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. After relocating to Detroit to pursue her teaching career, she wasted no time taking additional acting classes to perfect the craft.
Performance readiness led Young to receiving roles in various commercials, and plays within the southeast region of Michigan.
In 2005, Young wrote and published her first book titled, “The Everyday Living of Children & Teens Monologues.” In 2006, she launched and established Ardannyl, an after school program designed to promote acting, singing, dancing, creative writing, and art. Her second book, “The Everyday Living of Children & Teens Monologues 2,” was released November of 2008.
In May of 2013, her third book, “The Misfits," was released in e-book version.

Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes the very talented author Selena Robins. Unable to stay focused in school—science and math didn’t equate to happily ever after—Selena excelled in Daydreaming 101 and Creative Writing. Her entrepreneurial skills became evident in the latter part of Junior High when she found herself penning essays and short stories for five bucks a pop. Her future as a writer was foreshadowed by winning first prize in a contest run by the Humane Society—a romance about two race horses who fell in love (the filly won the race and the stud). Selena has continued her passion for happily ever after both in her life (okay, some days she’s sitting in first class on the Frazzled Express…but still) and in her books. In love with her family, friends, books, laughter, hockey, lively discussions, chocolate and red wine (sometimes all at the same time), Selena is a dragon slayer who enjoys reading and writing sassy heroines and hot heroes. After giving up her dream of becoming a movie star/dancer/singer, Selena decided that her second-in-line dream was to be a writer. Even if she never got published, she’d still want to write stories with fun characters and happy ever after endings.

David Corbett is the author of four critically acclaimed novels: "The Devil's Redhead"; "Done for a Dime" (a New York Times Notable Book); "Blood of Paradise" (nominated for numerous awards, including the Edgar, and named both one of the Top Ten Mysteries and Thrillers of 2007 by the Washington Post and a San Francisco Chronicle Notable Book); and "Do They Know I'm Running?" (Spinetingler Award, Best Novel 2011 -- Rising Star Category). Of the last, John Lescroart wrote: "This is not just a thriller, but an elegant novel, full of heart, soul, music, food, cruelty, betrayal, poverty and love. The line runs through Ernest Hemingway and Graham Greene, straight on to David Corbett. I'm not kidding. He's that good." For 15 years, David worked for the San Francisco private investigation firm of Palladino & Sutherland, and played a significant part in a number of high-profile criminal and civil litigations, including the Lincoln Savings & Loan Case, The DeLorean Trial, the Coronado Company marijuana indictments, The Cotton Club Murder Case, The People's Temple Trial, the first Michael Jackson child molestation case as well as numerous other drug, murder, and fraud cases. Critical acclaim has greeted Alan Russell's novels from coast to coast. Publisher's Weekly calls him, "One of the best writers in the mystery field today. The New York Times says, "He has a gift for dialogue," while the Los Angeles Times calls him, "A crime fiction rara avis." His novels have garnered him a Critics' Choice Award, The Lefty (awarded to the best humorous mystery of the year), and two San Diego Book Awards. Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes flower-loving author Kate Collins, who writes deliciously wicked murders. Kate Collins is the author of the national best-selling Flower Shop Mystery series and historical romance novels. For her mystery plots, Kate draws upon her own love of flowers and intrigue, and an intimate knowledge of life in a small college town. She states firmly for the benefit of all who live near her that none of the zany characters that populate the fictional town of New Chapel are based on people she knows. Honest!
