According to an article in 2012, The US Ranks 120 out of 169 Countries In Voter Turnout. Is that an indication we are on the right track or the wrong track or is it that it just really doesn't matter? America, can we experiement come 2014? Can we join the ranks of countries where the % of voter turnout is high? Exercise your right to vote. Register now. Vote at every opportunity. Vote primaries. Vote strategically. The Riverside County Registrar of Voters is preparing to count the ballots that will decide many of the local and statewide races next week.
In recent years many voters have opted to receive-and-return ballots by mail.
In Riverside County, as of May 22, 2014, 500,682 vote by mail ballots were sent to registered voters. So far 56,995 ballots have been returned to the Registrar.
