Good evening, good evening everyone.  How's everybody out there on this winter night?  My guest tonight on "You Talk Too Much" is Mrs. Carol Palmer, Independent Distributor, of Shaklee Products.  You can reach Carol at 757-453-6570.  First of all, this has been a whirlwind year for me.  Through my associations I have met so many people. As you know, my focus this year has been on businesses and community organizations here in Hampton Roads, Va.  I recently met Carol Palmer at a Trusted Compass Luncheon.  That was a hugh event.  It was packed.  Carol and I dined at the same table.  I found Carol to be friendly and warm and I am glad she was available to speak on my show tonight.  Carol Palmer is a business owner and she does what it takes to make her Shaklee business a success.  After all, she has a product everyone needs but not everyone has.  Today is Thursday, December 4.  The year is 2014.  You are listening to BlogTalkRadio.  I'm your host, Laura Gall.  My call in number is 1-714-242-5273.  Thank you so much for listening and helping me to make "You Talk Too Much" a valued talk show.

    LAURA GALL'S FINANCIAL FITNESS BOOTCAMP

BIG PURCHASES AND SPENDING BIG MONEY IS MY TOPIC TODAY ON BLOGTALKRADIO.  Making large purchases like buying a home or a car can be a hugh challenge for a first time buyer and even a second time buyer.  Every time you sign a contract to make a large purchase you must know your responsibilities to fulfill that financial obligation.  Every day unsuspecting consumers sign contracts for large purchases that will require payments as stated on a weekly, monthly or annual basis.  Not making the payment will be an issue.  That issue can follow you for a long time on your credit report.  And, let's face it.  You are your credit report. An example of a big purchase that can follow you for most of your life is a student loan.  College student loans don't just disappear.  They must be paid or forgiven based upon the college student graduating and becoming employed in a sector of society recognized by the student loan forgiveness program.  You are listening to BlogTalkRadio.  I'm Laura Gall.  Thank you for listening.

     Guest

    Author Yani,

She wrote her first novel when she was fifteen years old while attending University City High-School. What started out as just a short story to help her cope with the accidental and devastating murder of a friend, turned into a full length, 893 handwritten paged novel after being encouraged to continue writing more by her peers. Years later, A Thug’s Redemption along with its two sequels, became Amazon Best Sellers and featured in Yo! Raps Magazine. Yani had previously been known for her writing through her edgy poetry, which granted her an invitation to the Tri-State’s number 1 Hip-Hop and R&B radio station, Power 99FM, to recite her popular poem “Why Tyrone Can’t Read” in 2001. Since then, Yani has attended open mic nights, reciting her poetry throughout Philadelphia. Yani has been featured on numerous blogs and has made guest appearances on various blog-talk radio shows. She was also a featured author at the 2013 National Black Book Festival in Houston, Texas. Yani still resides in Philadelphia with her three children and is working on her sixth novel.
