I really don't have the voice to do my show today. It's unfortunate because I really want to expose what Apple announced today. I say that not in a good way. Here's what I don't understand:
- Why are they selling iPad starting with 16GB?
- How can they justify a $100 price difference between iPad mini 2 and 3 for only one feature? (Touch ID)
- Why isn't iPad mini 3 using 802.11ac?
- What's wrong with their streaming capabilities?
- Why would anyone really spend $100 more on iPad mini 3
- The new iMac with 5K Retina is lust worthy. I want one and now have a reason to own one.
- Everyone should upgrade to Yosemite next week, after iOS 8.1 is released
- If you have a Mac that's 3 years old, you will NOT be able to use Continuity!
That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure iPad Air 2 is amazing to use and I can't wait to see one in person. Call into the show and let me hear your thoughts about what what Apple announced today.

The NNIA network presents Recovery Radio Fresno with Louis Angel and First Steps Recovery.
We will be going live at 9pm pacific. Click the link and tune in, and if you miss it. The show will be permenatly recorded to the link. On this weeks show our guest Joshua Beauchaine will talk about two recovery programs. SoCal Detox is a program located in Southern California and First Steps Recovery is located is Clovis Ca. Both of these programs are designed to take those in recovery to the next level of healing. Here Is a description from the web sites.
The first aspect residents notice about SoCal Detox is the respect and care we give to each person in our care. For many, hospital settings are cold and distant. Our detox specialists know that our residents are people, and they care for them in a personal way that is foundational in successful detox. Environment is important. Our ocean view property, located in San Clemente, California, is small and private, offering a non-threatening harbor for the first step to sobriety: detox. Our facility is a combination of breath-taking views, a culture that is well liked by our patients and a state of the art facility. We are fortunate to provide our patients with an environment that offers an entire panoramic of the Pacific Ocean. Our patients often spend hours just sitting and watching the incredible beauty this location has to offer, not to mention the sunsets.
First Steps Recovery is a residential detox program on a luxurious, 5 acre ranch in the beautiful foothills at the gate of Yosemite. Located just 15 miles east of Fresno in Clovis, we offer a highly monitored, safe detox that includes: monitored withdrawal services, withdrawal protocols, assessment, psycho-educational groups, yoga and exercise programs, case management, individual and group psychotherapy. Our physicians are specialists in detoxification and aftercare treatment.
Michael McGranahan was born and raised in San Diego. He holds degrees in geology and geophysics and worked for ten years in oil and gas exploration; six of those years were in San Francisco where he fell in love with the City by the Bay. He is married and has two children, and currently divides his time between Modesto (where he maintains a bankruptcy trustee practice) and Santa Cruz, California. He enjoys rock climbing in Yosemite, surfing in Santa Cruz, and going to Giants games with his wife. His love of history, and training in the sciences, has perhaps given him the ideal background for this story about a banker, an engineer, and the silver mines of the Comstock Lode. Silver Kings & Sons of Bitches is his first novel; he is at work on his second historical novel, set in Shakespearian England.
His book is based on the true story of a man who sacrificed everything for a city - San Francisco - and his dream that it would one day be the most beautiful city in the world....and all for the love of a woman. The year is 1854 and William Ralston’s fiancée has just died. She, the granddaughter of Cornelius Vanderbilt, was to help Ralston transform the squalid gold rush town into a beautiful, modern city; now, alone, he will take up the quest in her memory. When the Comstock Lode is discovered, the dream seems suddenly plausible: Ralston, a banker, will funnel the wealth of the silver mines into his fledgling city - build magnificent theaters, hotels, museums, and finance businesses.
Jessalyn Ohhlson is a prostitute who bears an uncanny resemblance to Ralston's deceased fiancée. Ralston finds her irresistible, and they begin a torrid affair. What happens next will surprise you!
