It is but a rare moment when someone in the Milwaukee music scene has not seen nor saw a show featuring Gabriel Sanchez either on vocals or on some form of instrumentation. He has been a sweet staple to the fans and followers, and with his new Kickstarter campaign for his original CD, let us hope the world shall embrace him everyday as well. Although self-taught, Gabriel has made a mark as a man who plays and performs at an accelerated level. He mesmerizes the masses by his strumming and strutting across stage as Prince. He is also always willing to ween in other acts, sharing his stage with the many who wish to play alongside him. Today, we will chat about his career challenges, his big bunch of bands, and what it means to be releasing solo acoustic work.

The Whittier Museum will host Armando F. Sanchez and his Spying during the Cold War part 1 of 3
Armando Sanchez was an Economics and US Government teacher for many years until he retired a couple of years. He has and continues to serve has a mentor and friend to S3productions in the Field of Internet Multimedia Broadcasting. I wanted to do this show for a couple of reasons (1) how did you get from one career path to “retired” to being an expert on cold war spying. (2) S3productions will be at the museum covering the “Spy Show” and I am hoping to get a scoop before all the major media players get them.
Mr. Sanchez has been doing both web Streaming and podcasting for several years now and has covered a variety of subjects and topics and I always find it fascinating to see where one story sometimes leads to some subject totally unrelated and a whole new directions of shows.

More details to come...
Sanchez was never meant to be onstage singing according to statistics. In fact, he has beat the odds and has done many things he was not “suppose” to be able to accomplish.
When Sanchez was 6 weeks old, he suffered a stroke. He spent the first three months of his life at Children’s Hospital. The son of James and Victoria Tannehill had the odds stacked against him to walk, talk, and overcome a young, devastating blow to his life. But life and statistics did not underestimate the love and determination of Sanchez or his parents plus they had the one thing on their side that helped them overcome so many of life’s challenges: their faith in God.
Sanchez, along with his two brothers and a sister grew up in Alabaster, Al. Raised on strong Christian beliefs, he was never treated differently even though small modifications had to be acknowledged and occasional made for him. He attended Thompson High School. His spirit and determination helped him through high school and even won him accolades in local talent events. As he continued to build on his talent, more community leaders and talented musicians began to notice this rising star.
From opening up CityFest in Alabaster, to performing at the Special Olympics ceremonies, Sanchez continues to bring joy to others through his talents.
