It is holiday season. For some, this is the loneliest time of the year. But today, we're going to talk about getting rid of the suffocating sadness that threatens us when we are forced to spend time in the midst of other families without a family of our own.
From death to divorce, recent break-ups, to children who have moved off, there are many opportunities in life to be lonely, but with these keys, you can overcome the loneliness and the sadness that lurks closely behind it.
On the Wednesday, November 27th broadcast at 2PM Pacific/5PM Eastern our special guest is fellow oncologist Don S. Dizon, MD, FACP.

During our twitter exchange ASCO chimed in with the following recap links here and here.
Join us as we get to know Dr. Dizon and the state of quality initiatives in cancer care.

It is said that we are a product of your environment. Who we associate with and what we read are all factors in our success; but what about our environment? Our physical environment can be the single greatest sabotage that holds you back from what you want. If you are doing everything right and still not achieving success is it possible that your home, your office, the direction in which you sit be holding you back? On this weeks show we asked British born, certified Feng Shui Consultant, Cyd Alper-Sedgwick to join us to share her expertise on how to create success by using the ancient knowledge and principles of Feng Shui.

When filming his TV series Race Relations, John Safran spent an uneasy couple of days with one of Mississippi's most notorious white supremacists. A year later, he heard that the man had been murdered – and what was more, the killer was black.
At first the murder seemed a twist on the old Deep South race crimes. But then more news rolled in. Maybe it was a dispute over money, or most intriguingly, over sex. Could the infamous racist actually have been secretly gay, with a thing for black men? Did Safran have the last footage of him alive? Could this be the story of a lifetime? Seizing his Truman Capote moment, he jumped on a plane to cover the trial.
Over six months, Safran got deeper and deeper into the South, becoming entwined in the lives of those connected with the murder – white separatists, black campaigners, lawyers, investigators, neighbours, even the killer himself. And the more he talked with them, the less simple the crime, and the world, seemed.
Murder in Mississippi is a brilliantly innovative true-crime story. Taking us places only he can, Safran paints an engrossing, revealing portrait of a dead man, his murderer, the place they lived and the process of trying to find out the truth about anything. MURDER IN MISSISSIPPI-John Safran

I'm Amanda! I grew up in Wilmington, DE. I'm a teacher, and a mom of 2 adorable little boys. As a child, I was quite girly, and was NOT the athletic type. I loved watching sports, not playing them. Fast forward to about age 18. I had a 1 year old at the time, and decided that I needed a change. I my boyfriend (now husband) and I decided to hit the gym! After all, I used to LOVE watching my dad workout, and longed to pick up the weights like he did!
Now, I'm here. I've been lifting for 2 ½ years, working out for 10. I LOVE the sport. Motivation comes from many places; my idols, my family, the sweat pouring into my eyes as I hit that last rep. and of course, my sponsors and fans!! I LOVE bodybuilding. So much in fact, that last year I decided to follow in the footsteps of one of my role models, and compete! My husband and I worked to find the best show for me, and we worked hard to prepare. Finally, in august of Last season, I competed in the women’s physique division at the level 5, national qualifier, Florida State Championships in Orlando. This August, I’ll be back at it, at the Dexter Jackson Classic in Jacksonville!
Since my bodybuilding journey began, I’ve learned a lot about myself, and the sport. I know that dedication is key, and there’s no giving up. You must GO HARD every day!
I want to be a face that people remember, and a woman that others look to as a role model. I want people to me dedication and my passion, and be inspired!
Have a great workout! Love, Acon
