Do you Dare To Be Stupid?
Do you have your Poodle Hat on to cover that Bad Hair Day?
Are you ready to have some Mandatory Fun?
If so... great! Because the MHOD crew are coming Straight Out Of Lynwood and going Off The Deep End to bring you a Metal Hammer of Doom on one of the most prominent parody artists of our time... Weird Al Yankovic.
Weird Al Yankovic joins us live as we celebrate the release of his 14th studio LP, Mandatory Fun, out today, July 15th!
The album includes a hilarious take on Pharrell's "Happy" as well as featuring parodies of Lorde's "Royals," Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive," Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," plus Al's own "style parodies" of the Pixies and Cat Stevens.
In addition to the album, Weird Al is releasing videos for several of the songs this week. Tune in to find out more!
About Weird Al:
Few would have guessed that "Weird Al" Yankovic, who as a shy, accordion-playing teenager got his start sending in homemade tapes to the Dr. Demento Radio Show, would go on to become the biggest-selling comedy recording artist in history with over 12 million album sales. Now entering his fourth career decade, he has won 3 Grammys (with 14 nominations) and countless awards.
In addition to his recordings and world-famous music videos, Yankovic is also well-known for his cult-hit feature film UHF (1989), his late ‘90s CBS Saturday morning series The Weird Al Show and the numerous AL-TV specials that he’s made for MTV and VH1 over the years. With release of his children’s book When I Grow Up (HarperCollins, 2011), Al added "New York Times Bestselling Author" to his resume. An app version of the book for the iPhone and iPad, which recently won a Webby Award, is also available. His follow-up to this title was My New Teacher and Me! , released June, 2013.
Weird Al, along with his band of three decades, has performed over 1,000 career concerts and continues to tour with his rock and comedy multimedia show throughout the world.

If you recall the movie "Ground Hogs Day" starring Billy Murray and Andie McDowell among other greats and of course Puxatony Phil, the world famous Ground Hog as the little town celebrated the annual event on February 2nd, to see if there would be six more weeks of winter. Well as the story unfolds the main character Bill Murray is basically stuck in a time warp, where he repeats Ground Hogs Day over and over and over again...
With each passing day that passes as portrayed in the movie, he learns many things about people, about himself, about events and of course is given multiple chances to right a wrong and to make others around him, start to like him as he in fact starts to like himself, thereby becoming a much better person..
