In March 2011, The Oasis Smooth Jazz Awards Weekend was cancelled just days prior to the events leaving fans and scheduled artists in disbelief. Bruce Nazarian, aka The Lemonator, aka The Digital Guy, stepped in, put together a showcase of artists to perform at Anthology and the Lemonade Weekend was born.
The Lemonade Weekend 2.0 is scheduled for March 20-23, 2014, in Hollywood, CA. The four day musical event includes the VIP Founder's party on Thursday night, followed by music all day Friday and Saturday, and special closing day events on Sunday.
The First Annual Citrus Music Awards are a part of the Lemonade Weekend 2.0, and will recognize excellence in several musical formats, for instrumentalists, singers, producers, sidemen, venues, producers, arrangers, writers, and even radio stations and presenters.

in Pop Culture
We're covering the hot stories from the weekend. Andrea Nelson from the Clover Agency, a digital media firm joins Joe in the "Are You Serious?" segment to discuss crazy stories in pop culture and politics. (Amnesty for illegals, commercial suggests people are born gay, 11 year-old sex change, kids turn in your toy guns, guns=bad, and Arabic lessons for elementary kids.) Tune in and get informed.
Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately? There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective. Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting. But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree! If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!
Well it's been a long time since I last hosted a live podcast with BTR and I've decided to start up again with a weekend book talk podcast. I will be talking about the books I've currently been reading that week and so on. I might in the future ask for guests to join me but I've been out of the game to long so it'll probably be me for a while.' If anyone wants to join in with the book they are currently reading and what they plan to read next just call into the show. The Call in number is (619) 789-4340.
