    What is Co-Working?

    in Business

Join us today on Women Leading the Way Radio, as Barbara Eldridge, your host of Trend Setting Women, interviews Felena Hanson, Founder of Hera Hub.

Felena will talk about how many women running small businesses also have to juggle family life, and therefore feel an affinity with other women in the same situation. A supportive environment where women feel they easily relate to others helps get to that point in the relationship where they know, like, and trust the other person and are therefore more likely to ask for feedback or refer business. Hera Hub is set up to provide a supportive, female focused environment.

Barbara Eldridge is your host of Trend Setting Women, a show that is intense, informative and always interesting. Trend Setting Women focuses on showcasing women owners who play the game of business and never give up. Currently, Barbara is the President & Founder of Mind Masters, an organization for entrepreneurs to master the challenges they face in an ever-changing market place. For more than twenty-five years Barbara has been contributing to other people’s business success. Her many years of experience in the corporate world provided her with knowledge, insight and presence to help thousands of entrepreneurial men and women nurture their business ventures into thriving successes.

    women

    in Women

Iris and Priya return for another candid conversation about women entering the wisdom years of 60! Join us for another engaging conversation about things we often do not really talk about in public, at least honestly and openly. Todays episode is about "happy to be single". So many of us women are single in our midlife. In a culture that is fixated on being in relationship as the only path to fulfillment for a woman, being single can be a real challenge. The big one is being alright with being single in the face of all of the negative conditioning that we have grown up with that tells us that we are not ok if we are not together with someone aka "Married". Once we get over that big hurdle and settle into ourselves then there are the questions of how to get our social, sexual and intimacy needs met. It takes a village of the sisterhood to break through the viels that keep us isolated, alone and in despair about our being single. Let's move through it together so that we can celebrate our lives as sovereign women loving oursleves and eachother!

ARE YOU WORKING WITH A BULLY?

Are you working with a bully? More than 25% of us are.  If you aren't being bullied, chances are you have seen someone being abused by a supervisor or coworker.  When we talk workplace bullying, we're talking more than some eye rolls or impatient words. Those can be off-putting, but when we talk bullying, we're talking about more than that. The eye rolls and the harsh words are often coupled with more verbal abuse, with non-verbal actions, with exclusionary actions, and they are used repeatedly.  We're talking covert abuse along with overt actions perpetrated by someone who is doing it on purpose to targeted workers.

Think you are the victim of workplace bullying? Gary Namie, PhD, is research director and one of the founders of the Workplace Bullying Institute. According to their website, "WBI is the first and only U.S. organization dedicated to the eradication of workplace bullying that combines help for individuals, research, books, public education, training for professionals-unions-employers, legislative advocacy, and consulting solutions for organizations.'

Tune in Saturday at 11 am Pacific time to hear what he has to say and to ask questions about workplace bullying and what you can do if you are targeted -- or what you should do if you are the bully.

Women In Solutions - An Epiphany

    in Self Help

Welcome to Women In Solutions!  My name is Suzanne Marie and I am the host here.  For years I have wanted to help other women with whatever issues that they are having in their lives because there were and still are times in my life where I had problems and could not find solutions.  I struggled alot in the past with addiction of all kinds, sick relationships that were unhealthy and violent, running this way, running that way - never knowing who to turn to who I could trust, hitting brick walls, I believe that all of my issues have ceom from my childhood.  I believe we bring into our adulthood all the garbage that is still hanging onto us. It is time to bring about a solution now!  And, that is why I have created this radio show - just for that - for all women out there who would like to share their stories here and then working together to find solutions to help us find a better way of life - a life filled with peace, happiness some balance instead of the chaos that has surrounded so many of us in our lives.  I invited you to call in and share - you are able to remain anonymous if you so chose, this is a safe haven, a place of refreshment and upliftment!  It is hopefully a place to heal and become your true authentic self!
