    women

    in Women

We women are the weavers of the social fabric of life. Love is the bottom line of our lives. Relationship is of prime importance to us. Yet, in our tormented world we are cut off from this core value and suffer in our relationships with our mates, children, friends, and work colleagues.  It is time to come together, drop our guard, reconnect in sacred sisterhood, acknowledge what we all share as common heritage as women and learn how to truly support ourselves and one another for our personal and planetary healing and transformation. By sharing our vulnerable truth and being witnessed by one another with compassion, empathy and care we can create the culture of love that is our birthright as women. Join Iris and Priya in intimate and open conversations about what we women face as we go through the unique portal after menopause into our sixties - the entrance into our wisdom years.

Travel Today - The Athenaeum London

    in Travel

This week, Peter Greenberg Worldwide broadcasts from The Athenaeum in London. Situated just steps away from St. James Park, this family-owned establishment is one of Peter’s favorites. He’s been going there for more than 30 years, and it started because of Sally Bulloch, the electric, dynamic general manager—and at the time the only woman to hold that post in a London Hotel. We pay tribute to Sally this week, as we’re joined by Tim Arthur, CEO of Time Out, who gives some of his off-the-brochure secrets for visiting London.

Also joining us is London travel writer and U.S. expat Amy Laughinghouse who talks about the best walking tours in London. All of this and more when Peter Greenberg Worldwide broadcasts from the Athenaeum in London.

    TIM CONNOR HITS TROUBLE~

Tim Connor Hits Trouble defies conventional genres. It is funny, occasionally violent, intelligent, controversial and full of sexual twists and turns. We meet Tim Connor just as his marriage hits the rocks and as he is about to 'escape' to a new job in the Social Science Department at Wash University. Far from finding tranquillity, Tim 'hits trouble' in Wash both personally and at work. Now 'on the loose' he has several interesting and 'unusual' encounters with women. At work, Tim finds himself drawn into a conflict between an old rebel academic, Henry Jones, and the ambitious Head of Faculty, Howard Swankie that culminates in a tense and dramatic climax. Within the novel's lively narrative, characters argue, sometimes angrily, over the direction of contemporary higher education - making this a relevant as well as a gripping and highly enjoyable novel.

An American army patrol sent to investigate the ruins is trapped inside the temple’s eroded walls, first by an insurgent ambush then by another, even more powerful sandstorm. When an enemy mortar shell blasts an opening into a hidden burial chamber, Captain Adam Cadman and his soldiers take refuge deep in the ruins. Women In Solutions - An Epiphany

    in Self Help

Welcome to Women In Solutions!  My name is Suzanne Marie and I am the host here.  For years I have wanted to help other women with whatever issues that they are having in their lives because there were and still are times in my life where I had problems and could not find solutions.  I struggled alot in the past with addiction of all kinds, sick relationships that were unhealthy and violent, running this way, running that way - never knowing who to turn to who I could trust, hitting brick walls, I believe that all of my issues have ceom from my childhood.  I believe we bring into our adulthood all the garbage that is still hanging onto us. It is time to bring about a solution now!  And, that is why I have created this radio show - just for that - for all women out there who would like to share their stories here and then working together to find solutions to help us find a better way of life - a life filled with peace, happiness some balance instead of the chaos that has surrounded so many of us in our lives.  I invited you to call in and share - you are able to remain anonymous if you so chose, this is a safe haven, a place of refreshment and upliftment!  It is hopefully a place to heal and become your true authentic self!

UNIDENTIFIED: The UFO Phenomenon: How World Governments Have Conspired to Conceal Humanity's Biggest Secret

FORWARD~ "...fasten your seat belt. You are in for a fascinating ride."
--Stanton T. Friedman, author of Flying Saucers and Science
"Not only is Bob Salas an Air Force insider who had his ufological teeth cut by first-hand experiences, but he also possesses the scholarly background to analyze those events. With his tireless tenacity and no-nonsense mission towards disclosure, Bob is a genuine throwback to one of my own heroes, Edward Ruppelt."
--Donald R. Schmitt, best-selling co-author of Inside the Real Area 51

In 1969 the U.S. Air Force issued a statement that read‚ "No UFO reported, investigated and evaluated by the Air Force was ever an indication of threat to our national security." This statement is patently false. It has been proven untrue by the testimony of many military officers and airmen and documentation of incidents involving UFOs and nuclear weapons, testimonies of which the U.S. Air Force was fully aware. Unidentified details many of these testimonies, some for the first time. As partial justification for its position, the Air Force cites a University of Colorado study that was contracted and paid for by federal funds. Unidentified reveals how this study was actually just another part of the plan to cover up the reality of the UFO phenomenon. For the first time, Unidentified publishes evidence that the investigators for the Colorado study knew about the UFO-related missile shutdown incidents but did not investigate them or include them in their final report.

    Indie Books #76 (Scott Pinsker)

    in Books

Tune in and join me as I welcome this week's guest.

Author Scott Pinsker joins me this week to talk about his book, The Second Coming: A Love Story

Two men claim to be the Second Coming of Christ. Each claims the other is Satan in disguise. But only one is telling the truth. In "The Second Coming: A Love Story," the devilish new novel by Scott Pinsker, the culture war between Red America and Blue America turns shockingly real when two self-declared saviors appear on earth. The first “messiah” attracts legions of liberal and secular-progressive followers with his message of New Age brotherhood, quickly becoming the darling of the left. The second “messiah” preaches fire-and-brimstone traditional Christianity, gaining a grassroots army of conservative worshipers ready to battle to the death. It’s finally happened: Red America and Blue America are headed for Armageddon! Novelist Scott Pinsker is a Tampa Bay-based celebrity publicist who has also written for FOXNews.com as a marketing expert. As Pinsker tells it: “Late one night I had an unsettling thought: If the Devil truly wanted to con mankind, he wouldn’t have a pitchfork and horns. All those horror movies have it wrong; a pitchfork and horns are bad marketing. Instead, his smartest strategy for activating new followers would be to appear as a holy man – and claim the faith of his target audience. Because if I were Satan’s publicist, that’s what I’d recommend.”
