Spiritual Fire of Burning Destiny: Elements of Divine physical change

    in Christianity

There are three elements in the universe; space which is height width and depth.  Time which is past present and future.  Earth which is solids, liquids and gas.  Which one of these elements will change in the end times?  With the four horseman, there will be a sign of famine, war and death.  What will be the signs in the galaxy.  How can our conception of time change?  How valuable is our destination if God can wisp us away in an inferno and elimnate the function of time.

    Psalm 104:4 ESV /

He makes his messengers winds, his ministers a flaming fire.

As soon as Solomon finished his prayer, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

    in Music

Much to the excitement of music aficionados worldwide, bassist/composer Erik Scott will be releasing his sophomore CD 'And The Earth Bleeds' on May 8, 2014. Best known for his work with Alice Cooper, Sonia Dada, and Flo & Eddie, Erik's newest release takes the listener on an aural voyage through ethereal and otherworldly musical landscapes. 'And The Earth Bleeds' adds some vocals, gypsy violins, Celtic melodies, a dash of steel guitar, a wisp of French horns and other surprises to the soulful and mystic brew of his first 'solo' album, 'Other Planets'. And Erik continues to stretch convention with his melodic playing and bass-generated SFX.

Franklin County, VA and the Broadband WISP-erer

    in Internet

Franklin County formed a public/private partnership with a local wireless Internet service provider (WISP) to expand the County's local government wide-area network (WAN) and provide broadband options for the citizens. Sandie Terry, Franklin County’s CIO, has driven this project as it has gone from serving 98 customers in early 2005 to currently thousands of residential customers and hundreds of businesses.

The wireless mesh network supports data and voice and the WISP has segmented the County's voice traffic on their network to ensure quality of service (QoS). Among the many accomplishments, the county has reduced telecom expenditures 36% in two years after deploying VoIP to all offices over this WAN.

    We’ll discuss:

How can broadband projects become successful for those who didn’t win stimulus or Google money; The role of wireless in the big bigger broadband picture particularly in rural areas; and How Franklin County and their WISP overcame challenges in dealing with financing and difficult terrain issues. If you have questions for Terrie, send them to craig@cjspeaks.com. The call-in feature won’t be available for a couple of weeks. We’ll archive this show shortly after broadcast, and you can access it from this page. See you Monday.
