Join us this week as we celebrate the 6th year anniversary of our show and welcome The Como Brothers Band. Hailing from Long Island, NY., Matt and Andrew Como are songwriters and musicians that value organic music, musicianship, and songs with original integrity. Music is not a hobby of the brothers but a way of life and a career. Early in life, their father and his brothers would play at family parties. Growing up in this environment inspired them to play music, and it fast became a central part of their lives. In 2013, The Como Brothers Band took their previous experience and focused on approaching the industry with honest songs. It worked. They opened for major acts such as The Wallflowers, American Idol winner David Cook, and Jilian Jensen. In exciting news for 2015, they will be releasing their new EP album "Imagination". The new album is available for pre-order on itunes now. We will talk to Matt and Andrew about their upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at their music, feature their latest songs, and ask them to share their message for the troops. Please be sure to visit The Como Brothers Band at http://www.comobrothersband.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with them during the show (718) 766-4193. If you would like to participate in the live chat during the show, you must sign up on the show site first and then log in during the show. And as always we will give shout outs to our deployed military listeners. Be sure to join us, Sunday 8/9/2015 at 4 PM EDT! Our message to the troops....WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.

Huffington Post columnist Rachel Thompson and Critic/writer/columnist for Night Owl Magazine and Affaire De Couer Bennet Pomerantz discuss media topics with guests. Their Guest is Jen Winters
Jen Winters fell in love with paranormal romance after her daughter was born and she needed a way to escape reality for a few minutes a day. She loved it so much she decided to take her own pen to it.
She is a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling two great kids. She spends her days with the kids and her nights with her book boyfriends. She is grateful to her hubby for all his support and love, and can't imagine this life without him.
The top-selling world of the Guardians was developed through deeply irreligious conversations with her father who likes to misinterpret scripture as often as humanly possible and a good dose of did-I-just-read-that-! when looking into ancient near eastern mythology and scripture.
Host Cyrus Webb welcomes Matt Como of The Como Brothers Band to #ConversationsLIVE to discuss their passion for music and what it's been like to share it with the world. The two will also discuss the new project IMAGINATION and even introduce singles from the album.
An especially fun part of being a “Sneaky Mom” is watching children learn how to accomplish things when they aren’t aware they are learning! This is especially true with situations where they are acquiring life skills like cooking and baking. With Thanksgiving and other holidays on their way, this is a good time for "Kids in the Kitchen to be Cooking up a Storm!" with Kas Winters, the Sneaky Mom. She has put together ideas to help children of all ages learn to cook, play with food, and to build other skills including reading, math, nutrition, history, geography, and science in the process! Family holidays and special occasions are highlighted. Celebrate family with children, good things to eat, and some delightful ways to teach them about food preparation by using Sneaky Mom ideas that will help them learn a great deal while they think they are playing.
Join us and let the cooking Wednesday, November 4th at 10amPT/ 1pmET and anytime in archive here on #WoMRadio, the shows for mompreneurs, the new business woman.
