Mentoring, to me, means to build. Jenga, is an African word derived from Swahili that means “to build”. When we share our experiences, knowledge and ideas we are building. Because many of us are at different levels of experiences and knowledge, and based on our ages, we may need to listen at times and speak at other times during the Jenga. So we may learn from each other regardless of any obstacles. This is very promising, as well as very important. For Black people in America, it is imperative we engage in the building dialog process with each other, in order to break the spell of white racist supremacy cast on us since our ancestors were brought here to America and put in slavery. Here in America, people of color and Black people, in particular, have been victims of unethical, physical and mental injustices and death on a daily basis which still persist since the days of slavery, and left many of us with no hope of ever regaining our true identities of a proud Black people, with a proud Black Heritage from Africa. Please join Bro Jesse, that's me, each Thursday at 6:00 PM/EST or 5:00 PM/CST, by calling 1-914-803-4571, at The Initiative Radio Network, where we can build bridges together as Black people and educate our children in an effort to save their lives as well as our own and demand justice for our people.
A compelling dark vampire saga of love, secrets, lies, and betrayal.
Centuries ago ten powerful vampire gods first walked the earth; their blood thirst knew no boundaries. The destruction of mankind was inevitable. Recognizing their weakness, they selected twelve wise human beings to transform with their godly blood. These twelve, known as The Old Ones and The Council, govern The Ten. A blood lottery appeasing The Ten's hunger was set forth into the human world and passed down every fifth generation, continuing into the present day.
All of Beth Ryan's life a mysterious mist watched over her, a mist she believed to be a vampire. On a cold winter night, she comes face to face with Philippe Delon, a 700 year old vampire with a human soul. Beth is certain Philippe is the vampire behind the mist. She is drawn to him, accepting his immortality without question or fear.
Beth and Philippe cannot deny their love for each other, nor do they try to fight it. Within days of their encounter, Beth accepts Philippe's invitation to move into his mansion. The mansion unlocks the door to the vampire world and exposes secrets from Beth's past. Within its walls, she learns the true identity of the mist, her link to the blood lottery, and betrayal of her loved ones. Surrounded by lies, Beth stands before The Council begging for resolution.

Tough Talk Christian Radio with Host Tony Gambone with His Guest Judy Carlson and Ahmad Davis:
Judy Nelson Carlson grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, and thus began her love affair with winter and a strong attachment to her Scandinavian roots. She received her B.A. in English from Trinity International University. Judy and her husband Tim reside in the Missouri Ozarks. They have six children and twenty grandchildren. Having a lifetime passion for literature and writing, at age nine she wrote her first story. Mrs. Carlson s particular love for the works of C.S. Lewis and George MacDonald have permeated this novel with their characteristic sense of wonder and longing. Her greatest desire is for all to know Who goes up to heaven and comes down?
Ahmad Davis - In 1999 I was divorced and a fully employed homeless man living out of the back of my Ford Explorer. During that time I began to take control of my finances by telling my money what to do, paying off debt, and accumulating thousands in savings and even picked up a second job. After a few weeks I wrote my first tithe check. I recognized a few years later, that God reconnected me with an old friend and I moved into a spare bedroom of his a few days later. During that time, I paid off over $10,000 in debt, saved thousands of dollars, and started taking LOTS of vacations that did not have a bill follow me home. In 2005, through thoughtful prayer, I became a Certified Financial Coach. Since then I have helped
• A multitude of couples stop divorce proceedings
• Individuals and couples payoff over $1.5 million dollars in debt (not including homes)
• People save over $500 thousand dollars in cash savings

In Metro Detroit, it’s simply that getting to that job, is difficult. When a person has been let go multiple times because they can’t make it on time it hurts their chances of getting a new job. There have been deep bus cuts over the last few years, and although there has been monumental progress with lighting, it’s not like the majority of Detroit’s neighborhood streets are at a safe point yet. Oh, and in case you haven’t looked outside, we have winter. Year-round biking for most folks isn’t practical.
Who would have thought we'd be seeing "I Love Lucy" on our timelines for our favorite TV show #Castle? No, it's not a Beckett Replacement. But definitely is giving the "Clark Kent"-ish looking Rick some "food for thought" on his own musings.
Hopefully, you watched last night's episode of Castle Season 8, "PhDead" 803 - Written by Chad Gomez Creasey and Directed by Executive Producer Rob Bowman and YOU can join us in tonight's STR Round Table.
Season 8 has been some-what of a polarizing Castle Season to many fans and some are still wrapping our minds around the Character-Shake-Ups we’ve “experienced” with them and yet, VERY curious as to where the new Show Runners, Winter/Haley, are taking us all in this new direction for our favorites.
Here are Elena’s questions for you to review before tonight's discussion begins:

Gustavo Sainz, noted filmmaker, and philanthropist, joins the show to talk about his latest "HUMAN TIME PROJECT" efforts, along with current projects he's involved with.
In the winter of 2010, while visiting a relative at the World Bank, Gustavo Sainz met people dedicated to world health issues. Coming from a family that has worked in non profits, he knew that there’s always the need for more help. The stories he heard of the conditions some rural clinics had to face were astonishing. Also another thing he found out that in the items that were lacking were watches for health workers. Having a watch company Gustavo immediately began to inquire.
According to data from the World Health Organization and Unicef around 800,000 people die a year in developing countries, including children, due to accidents and trauma. This fact is even more tragic when you factor in the account that these people will recur to an emergency clinic that lacks the necessities to save a life. A watch is a vital tool in first aid, not having one can sometimes mean the difference between life or death.
