We're starting off 2016 with a bang with some great authors. Two familiar voices and one new!
Whit McClendon joins us once more to talk about his book, Mage's Burden. It's a pleasure having him back on the show.
Also with is is author Marsha Casper Cook. Not only is she an author, but an editor and a Blog Talk Radio show host with her network, The World of Ink. Welcome back, Marsha!
Third is a new voice, Hebby Roman, author of Princess and the Templar, Tempt Fortune, Summer Dreams, among others.
Join us for a fun filled afternoon!
As we've done for the last few years, Christina Gigeure and Dellani Oakes are taking the day to chat together. We spend so much time talking to other authors, it's easy to put aside the fact that we both write. It also gives us a chance to relax after the holidays. So, tune in for Dellani's Tea Time and enjoy!
We hope you had a lovely holiday season and are ready to gear up for a great 2016! May it treat us all better than 2015!
Dellani and Rachel welcome the holiday season. Romance is in the air with these three lovely ladies.
First up is Paty Jager author of Husband for Christmas, Laying Claim, Doctor in Petticots, among others.
Next, they welcome Kristen Holt, author of Second Hand Bride, Drifter's Proposal, The Cowboy Steals a Bride and many more.
This is going to be a great show, with lots of books to choose from for holiday gifts -- and lots of laughs, as our gift to you.
And remember books make great gifts!

On February 3, 2016, one of the greatest composer/producer/artists of all-time, the founder and leader of Earth, Wind & Fire, Maurice White, passed away in his sleep after battling Parkinson's Disease. He was 74 years old. With his legendary band, White created numerous classic songs which will carry on his incredible legacy. Nile Rodgers expressed the sentiment of music fans, and the music industry, when he tweeted, "@MauriceWhiteEWF - #RIP my soulful brother-You're one of the most amazing innovators of all time."
The Spotlight Studio returns this Saturday morning at 10am est on Blogtalkradio.com! On this weekend's broadcast, we pay tribute to founder and member of Legendary R&B group, Earth, Wind and Fire Maurice White. Hope you'll join us!
Happy New Year to all.
A new year and with so many possibilities ahead.
My two guests for January are Cheryl Hollon and Eileen Magill. Both of their latest books deal with new chapters in their main character's lives. In House of Homicide, by Eileen Magill, a young mother deals with being newly widowed and In Cheryl's, Pane and Suffering, a woman must deal with the death of her beloved father.
Please come and join me as I talk with these talented ladies.
If you have never heard of the founding member of super group Earth, Wind & Fire, singer, drummer, songwriter, and producer, Maurice White, then you don’t know great music. He was known for his stagecraft and inventive compositions. Let me tell you about the TrueMovement created by this man.
Maurice "Reese" White was born on December 19, 1941, in Memphis, Tennessee and was a guiding force behind the success of Earth Wind & Fire. He helped compose hit songs like two of my personal favorites, "Shining Star" and "September."
Celebrating the music and the man. Listen now and read more here.
Welcome to the Holiday Show for Red River Radio Tales from the Pages with host Barbara Ehrentreu. Today returning guests from past shows will be reading either their original holiday story or one they wish to share with us. My guests so far will be: Dellani Oakes, author and Blog Talk Radio host of Dellani's Tea Time, and Christine Bruchner, aspiring author and writer, former DJ, chat room hostess and transcriber for most of the Blog Talk Radio hosts. There might be some surprise guests as well. As everyone knows this show is usually on every 4th Thursday, but because of the fact it is Christmas Eve it was moved here and I have to thank Dellani Oakes for relinquishing her usual time. It is the season of peace and joy and I urge anyone who wishes to call into the show to do so. If you have a holiday story you want to share and you are a previous guest from any year you are welcome to call in and read it. Also welcome are anyone who wants to talk with the guests or has a question for them or the host. Peace and love to all and sorry for the short notice.
Today, host Barbara Ehrentreu of Red River Radio Tales from the Pages finally welcomes Erica Collins to this special show at a different time for my November show. Erica Collins is the author of Eric and Ruby's Healthy Juice Stand, which is a book written in English, Spanish and French and delves into the issues of eating healthy for children so they can stave off disease and live a better life. It is all about teamwork and includes games and recipes. Erica will be talking about how winning a contest inspired her to write this book and how it has changed her life. For the first part of the program, I will be taking callers to discuss anyone's books. This is going to be a one time offer, since most of my shows begin at 4pm with the author. Today, the author can join us only at 5. So please come and listen and call into the show to talk about your book.
