Welcome to Red River Radio Dellani's Tea Time! I've got 3 great guests coming on the show. Two are good friends (I won't say OLD) the third is new to our show, so be gentle.
First up, Florida author Eileen Register comes back to say hello and talk about her books, Adrianna, Adrianna's Christmas Surprise, Roller Coaster Ride and all the other wonderful books in her Grisholm County Chronicles books!
Second, Broody New Englander, Kenneth Weene, author of Memoirs from the Asylum, Tales from the Dew Drop Inne, Widow's Walk... You get the idea, he's got a lot of great books too!
Third, we welcome author of A Daughter's Rage.
Dellani and Christina will also talk briefly about their newest books, so be sure to tune in!
The Wind River Range in western Wyoming includes more than 40 peaks that check in at 13,000 feet or taller, including the highest natural point in the state, Gannett Peak (13,804 ft.). In this edition of In Ice Axe We Trust (IIAWT), Chris and Matt talk with a mountaineer who recently teamed up with Big City Mountaineers for a charity climbing expedition in the Wind River Mountains.
As usual, in our post holiday time, Christina and I like to take it easy. We're talking to ourselves again - we excel at that. Today, we're joined by some of our friends:
Karen Vaughan - Red River Radio host of Writer's Round Table. Karen is the author of cozy mysteries: Dead on Arrival, Dead Comic Standing, Over Her Dead Body, and Daytona Dead. She also does standup comedy and other kinds of fun things! She's a laugh a minute! (I know, I timed her)
Marta Moran Bishop - Red River Radio host of Books and Bards. Marta is the author of so many amazing books, including (but not limited to) Dinky: the Nursemare's Foal, Between Times, The Void, The Hollowers, Wee Three: A Mothers Love in Verse.... Marta is not only an author, she's also a fabulous poet.
JD Holiday - Red River Radio host of It's Story Time and Halo Kids. JD is the author of children's books: The Spy Game, Janoose the Goose and The Great Snowball Escapade.
Christina Gigeure (Rachel Rueben) is Red River Radio co-host for Dellani's Tea Time and What's Write for Me. She is the author of young adult novel, Hag and The Eternal Bond. She has also compiled an amazingly helpful guide for self-publishing authors - Self-Publishing Hacks No One Tells You About.
Dellani Oakes - Red River Radio host of Dellani's Tea Time and What's Write for Me. She is the author of: Indian Summer, Lone Wolf, Shakazhan, The Maker, Conduct Unbecoming, The Ninja Tattoo and Under the Western Sky. Dellani also has another book coming out in January, Undiscovered from Tirgearr Publishing.
This will be a fun and entertaining show. We're going to share author tips, tools of the trade, advice and simply have fun. Join us!
It's that time again! What time? You may well ask! Time to celebrate and other birthday with Tirgearr Publishing! We're taking names, making a list and checking it twice, so I'll keep everyone posted as we add people. Meanwhile, we're definitely chatting with publisher Kemberlee Shortland, author of the Irish Pride Series, The Carmel Charmer Series, Moondance, One Night in Dublin and The Power of Love.
Dellani and Christina will also be talking about their latest novels.
Tune in for two hours of International Fun!
JD Holiday talks with author Dellani Oakes! OF COURSE you know her from Red River Radio's Dellani's Tea Time & What's Write for Me.
Some of her books: The Ninja Tattoo and Under the Western Sky, Indian Summer, Lone Wolf & Shakazan. Dellani also self-published a romantic suspense novel, Conduct Unbecoming out this month. The Maker, Book 3 in the Lone Wolf Series is coming soon 2015.
The year is 3032 and mankind has expanded far beyond Earth’s galaxy. Matilda Dulac is a member of the Galactic Mining Guild. With her lover, Marc Slatterly, she works in a small mining ship in deep space. Their well ordered life if suddenly thrown into chaos when one miner arrives with a load of Trimagnite, a highly toxic liquid ore. Enter the Lone Wolf. Wil VanLipsig, known as the Lone Wolf, arrives to take the Trigmagnite off their hands. Is it a coincidence for him to show up on Marc’s ship years after Marc thought he’d killed Wil? Or is this the beginning of something far more insidious?
Beginning where Lone Wolf left off, Wil VanLipsig and Matilda Dulac continue their epic sci-fi adventure. John Riley is gone. He disappeared using an ancient transportation device. They hope he's dead, but can't count on it. He's far too dangerous.
They trek across the galaxy, venturing further into deep space. They arrive at a long forgotten planet–Shakazhan.

Happy New Year. I'm starting off 2015 by talking with two men of suspense and mystery, Mark S. Bacon and Kurt Kamm.
Mark began his writing career as a Southern California newspaper reporter covering police and general assignments. Since then he has written TV and radio commercials and print and online advertising as a copywriter. Most recently he was a correspondent for the San Francisco Chronicle. His latest book is A Death in Nostalgia City.
Kurt Kamm lives in Malibu CA. He uses his contacts with CalFire, Los Angeles County Fire Department, Ventura County Fire Department and the ATF, as well as his experience in several devastating local wildfires to write fact-based firefighter mystery novels. Kurt’s latest book is Tunnel Visions.
Please come by and listen as I learn more about these two intriguing guys.
