Jason began his visual effects career in 1992 at Dream Quest Images, working with the miniature department and the company’s proprietary real time motion control systems and later participating in the company’s transition into the digital world by assisting in the conversion of optical printers into the first generation of film scanners. After leaving Dream Quest, Jason spent the next 15 years as an in-house and independent supervisor on such films as X- Men 2, Thirteen Days, The Dukes of Hazzard, Sinister and The Town that Dreaded Sundown. In 2007, Jason was hired to oversee Sngmoo Lee’s fantasy action film, The Warrior’s Way. Shooting entirely on greenscreen on location in New Zealand, Jason supervised the design and creation of over 1700 vfx shots at vendors spread across New Zealand, Australia, South Korea and America. Jason also directed the vfx and stunt units. In 2011, Jason joined FuseFX as Senior Visual Effects Supervisor, primarily responsible for FX’s hit show American Horror Story, for which Jason and the team at Fuse won the 2015 Primetime Emmy and VES Awards for Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects for the show’s 4th season, Freak Show. Edwin F. Becker had the distinction of owning a haunted building in Chicago that became the subject of the first televised paranormal event in 1970 by NBC. Before The Exorcist, or Amityville, there was "True Haunting!" He never sought recognition until his daughter published his recollection in 2011. The book, True Haunting became an instant best seller holding #1 on Amazon U.S., for a year in parapsychology, and for 6 months in the United Kingdom, breaking his publisher's e-book record and topping the sales of their 96,000 book catalog. He appeared on SYFY's, Paranormal Witness in the season two record breaking finale, 'The Tenants." Though he does not do book signings or public appearances, Edwin has done radio for CBS, FOX, WGN and NBC plus a multitude of internet programs as a guest, co-host and host. He has two daughters and four granddaughters and continues to write, and recently releasing True Haunting 2, which zoomed to parapsychology popularity immediately.
