The Real Deal Bible Study Host Min. Akaiha on Numbers which means Wilderness

    in The Bible

I greet you with the joy that comes from knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  God's has an awesome purpose and plan for our lives.  Even Greater Things (John 14:12). We are so excited you have tuned in today.  .  Praise the Lord for the great things He has done!

As our ancestors would say  " I'm a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save everybody". I pray that God will enabled you to further open your eyes and ears to Gods' word.

Numbers begins at Mount Sinai where the Israelites have received their laws and covenant from God and God has taken up residence among them in the sanctuary.  The task before them is to take possession of the Promised Land. The people are numbered and preparations are made for resuming their march. The Israelites begin the journey, but they "murmur" at the hardships along the way, and about the authority of Moses and Aaron. For these acts, God destroys approximately 15,000 of them through various means. They arrive at the borders of Canaan and send spies into the land, but upon hearing the spies' fearful report concerning the conditions in Canaan the Israelites refuse to take possession of it, and God condemns them to death in the wilderness until a new generation can grow up and carry out the task.

“God is not just in the church; He is also in technology..  “Walking with God is to stand where God stands, and to fight for whom God fights: the poor, the weak, the powerless and the defenseless. Walking with God is to have the courage to know that fear and trepidation before the might of the powerful is overturned by the fear of the Lord !  Walking with God is to understand, without doubt or equivocation that justice is what Yahweh requires.  Ashe Selah

The temperatures get extremely cold and roads, lakes, and travel ways are extremely treacherous to travel. Today in Anchorage Alaska it is 6 degrees Fahrenheit and the freezing conditions makes it dangerous to even go outside for any length of time without becoming frost bitten but Bonnie and her husband Sam lived in tents for a good part of their stay and a hot shower or a visit with another female for Bonnie was a luxury item and rare!

Bonnie will share about the hardships they endured, the independence they found and the adventure that was their life!

God will make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison Texas continues speaking about Jeremiah, the ministry of the prophet, and the call of the prophet. In Jeremiah 1:7-9 it says, "But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord. Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

Jeremiah was a youth when God called him.  He was 17 years old. God was telling him to not let his age disqualify him.  Whatever God calls you to do, it is likely you don't know how to do it.  This will call you to rely on Him. God will place the law of God on our hearts. Jeremiah was given a very specific assignment.

Isaiah 43:18-19 says, “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert." Sometimes God will send you to an area where there is no clear direction and he will make a road there, and rivers there.

Through The Wilderness Pt 4 - Firm Foundation

    in Christianity

B.L.I.F. Network presents Firm Foundation with our host Evangelist Owen Bruce. At times we all go through the wilderness experience which are times or seasons in our life when we face difficult situations, our faith may be challenged, emotionally we may become drained and discouraged.  Even as we are approaching the joyous Christmas season, unfortunately this can be a very challenging and even lonely time for many people.  The good news is that Jesus went through the wilderness experience in Matthew Chapter 4, verses 1 to 11, and because He came through it victoriously so can we.  We will consider how Mary and Joseph faced challenges and difficulties regarding the conception and the birth of Jesus, and how God guided them and helped them to overcome.  Our prayer is that you will be encouraged and blessed as you trust God and believe His Word.

"The Scriptures say: 'No one can live only on food. People need every word that God has spoken.' " (Matthew 4:4, CEV)
