The Chosen-1:The Battle of the Warsaw Ghetto
George Santayana said “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
Today’s program, The Battle of the Warsaw Ghetto, by Morton Wishengrad, commemorates the 70 anniversary of that heroic fight for freedom from the Nazis. Nearly 445,000 people were cramped into an area that had previously held one-tenth of that number.
13,000 Jews were killed in the ghetto during the uprising. Of the remaining 50,000 residents, most were captured and shipped to concentration and extermination camps.

Jaime Poland is a 12 year veteran high school English teacher with a Master’s Degree of Arts in English and Education. She is known for her innovative teaching strategies that connect the content of lessons to lifelong learning skills for better individuals in a better society. She has conducted writing workshops for her school and has earned multiple awards for the integration of technology in her classroom. She was most recently named teacher of the month in her school district for her use of social media while teaching Powerful Peace. Stop The Insanity Target 2014

David Welch is the author of a new book on Amazon called “Stop The Insanity Target 2014”.
David Welch Studied economics as an undergraduate at Stanford University, and then spent 3 years in the U.S. Army. David also spent 2 years at the University of Chicago where he obtained an MBA in Finance and Accounting. He also obtained and MS degree in Tax Law at San Francisco’s Golden Gate University.
In 1978 David ran for a Congressional seat in California. David also spent just over a year in London as the Treasurer of Dowell Schlumberger, and then two years in Tokyo as Asia Tax Manager for Schlumberger Wireline. During this period David has traveled to more than fifty countries.
David also spent a year in Poland teaching English, then two years in China teaching International Finance and Business English at a Chinese University. David is now assisting his brother in a small Mortgage Modification business and the two brothers have helped save the homes of approximately one hundred families facing foreclosure.
