Lavender Hill had a first on September 14, 2014. Corwin and Phil got to host their very first live-in-the-studio-musical-performance. Otter Creek, a folk duo from Utah, were in Nebraska to doa show in support of PFLAG-Hastings. They came into Lincoln to visit on the air with Corwin and Phil. Peter and Mary Danzig are long time allies to the LGBTQ community and have gone so far as to leave their Mormon faith because of their deeply rooted convictions that all love is equal.
This edition of the Hill features Otter Creek's music exclusively. Live and recorded, several tracks and back story on the music are available throughout the program. Mary and Peter were accompanied by their three daughters and Andrew Callahan from the Hastings, NE PFLAG chapter. Andrew also left the Mormon church because his beliefs on marriage equality, gay rights, and related issues were in conflict with the church.
You can learn more about Otter Creek and purchase their music through their website: www.ottercreekduo.com.
Duane Duggan hosts today's discussion with his guest David Sinkey of Boulder Creek Builders. Sinkey is Boulder Creek's principal and co-founder. Boulder Creek Builders builds patio homes and townhomes throughout Colorado. We specialize in energy-efficient, right-sized homes that offer lock and leave functionality and main-floor living.
As well as building fine homes, Boulder Creek takes a different approach to marketing than most builders in that it relies on intimate, face-to-face meetings with potential buyers before it breaks ground for a community.

This week our guests are Steven Streufert and Ian C, co-founders of the Bluff Creek Trail Cam Project and the Bluff Creek Film Site Project. The Film Site project was originally formed in 2009 in order to locate the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film site. The team successfully located the film site in 2011 and continued to perform field research and surveys to digitally reconstruct the site and ascertain exact dimensional data from the film and make accurate measurements of the creature’s pathway and size. The Trail Cam project was launched in 2012 in order to systematically install high end trail cameras throughout the Bluff Creek area to capture the movements of the area’s inhabitants. Steven also writes a popular blog named Bigfoot’s bLog, runs a bookstore named Bigfoot Books in Willow Creek, CA and also runs the Facebook group Coalition for Reason, Science, Satire and Sanity in Bigfoot Research. ABOUT THE MUSEUM
Hundreds of Exhibits of Rare Artifacts and Memorabilia of Stars and Stunt Performers of Motion Pictures and Television, featuring personal items of John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Steve McQueen, and Stunt legends of the movies including Yakima Canutt, Cliff Lyons, Dave Sharpe, Ronnie Rondell and hundreds of others.
There are over 350 concrete blocks that contain the footprints and handprints as well as signatures of many of the Greats of the Cinema ... a collection that out-ranks those that are located at the Mann's Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. This rare collection has taken its founder, John G. Hagner more than 65 years to gather and preserve for posterity, featuring parts of costumes, weapons, stunt equipment, photos and paintings and drawings ... hats and caps, boots and shoes and hundreds of items from the movies and television, plus videos, films and film clips.
The Hall of Fame has been in existence since 1973 and became a non-profit organization in 1984, dedicated to preserving the history of the Stunt profession and to honoring Stunt People the world over.
Currently the Hall of Fame is without a home and needs financial support to enable them to afford a building in which to welcome visitors. Anyone interested in participating in this effort, may make a tax-deductible donation to the HOLLYWOOD STUNTMEN'S HALL OF FAME, and mail it to 81 W. Kane Creek Blvd. - #12, Moab, Utah 84532.
