William Steinke - Lance Coporal 6:15pm
William E. Steinke. I am a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine stationed at Twenty-nine Palms
California. I am contacting you today because I am gravelly concerned my civil rights as an African American are being violated. The issue arose around a year ago when I was accused of sexual assault.
The allegation I faced was worrisome but I had faith in the judicial system. Shortly after being accused I was transferred, for medical reasons, to a unit called P.A.D (Personnel Awaiting Disposition). One day while
walking to my room I was stopped by military police and asked if I was willing to give permission to have my room searched. I, along with my other two roommates all agreed. We waited around for them to finish then I found myself being handcuffed and taken in for questioning. Before I realized
what had happened I had been sent to the Brig (Military Prison).

PROPHETIC WORD RELEASE: YOU HAVE WAITED LONG
This is a special episode of Wings Radio to release an encouraging new word the Lord just gave me called "You Have Waited Long" ....
For the text version of this word, go to:
If you’re not engaged, or even close to it, please don’t move on to your next bookmark or feed! So much to say almost all of the sisterly advice we are brimming with can be of use well before your intended ever shows his face, if only in the realm of your ideals. If you aspire as a girl towards a God-centered, fulfilling, dynamic marriage, your values will grow in that direction, as a plant towards the light of the sun. True love and beautiful marriages really do Xist. And the dreams God allows us to dare to dream in our girlhood are where such marriages are born. That’s not to say the course ahead will run smooth by any means…the Bard had some wise words on that account. But it’s worth it. It’s worth it to have faith in something so beautiful that only God could have thought it up in the first place. It’s worth it to learn to wait on Him and hope in Him and to find, after all, that He is the Lover of your soul. It is worth it... all the longing and disappointed hopes and even heartache that may lay before you - to be able to one day stand before the person you love best in the whole wide world, wearing a white dress and veil, and to look up at him and say, ‘I have waited for God and I have waited for you.’ So that’s the first piece of advice for a good marriage: Believe that it Xists in the grace of God. Believe that God intends for you to be married unless you have a very specific calling otherwise. Believe that it can be a ‘dream come true’ of oneness and closeness and fellowship and downright fun! And remember that it is worse than pointless to try and figure out how God is going to unfold your story.
Since our beautiful and multiply talented guest was with us last time, MUCH has happened - all good! Ragan told us that she had a new project coming - and here it is! Released on July 8th, it's already being pushed to the top - Ragan has SO many fans who have waited for this :) And there's MORE news to share: just a month or so ago, Ragan won a prestigious award from "Black Women in Jazz & Fine Arts" - prod her to tell us about that - it won't take much, believe it. She is very proud of this - and understandably so!
If you aren't familiar with the background of this flutist/vocalist/composer/arranger, prepare to be impressed. Ragan was playing multiple instruments at the age of FIVE! But the piano, drums and violin didn't compare to the love she had for the flute. Classical studies were a natural transition for her - just as natural - immersing herself after her education (Cleveland Institute of Music, Harid Conservatory) in New York. But NOT classically ;) Ragan dove into Jazz, Funk and R & B - and did it ALL with flair!
She won the Capital Jazz Fest's coveted "New Artist Competition" - and released her debut album thereafter. With "Class Axe" in 2007 - then "Evolve" in 2012 - you can hear just that: EVOLUTON! Trusted and acclaimed producers and arrangers, Dennis Johnson and Bob Baldwin, assisted in conveying the "Raganometry" that's a trademark of everything she does. Like the Pillsbury Dough Boy, Ragan Whiteside is Poppin' Fresh, 24/7! One listen to the new "Quantum Drive" and you'll hear another LEVEL of that! Check out who was happy to come onboard for this endeavor: Bob Baldwin, of course - he was an EARLY believer in Ragan. Plus, Althea Rene, Frank McComb and Patrice Rushen!
1 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
COME FELLOWSHIP WITH US & LOVE ON PURPOSE
Today Nancy Varner will share her testimony. Born and raised in Charleston South Carolina Nancy and her family started attending North Charleston United Methodist Church when she was 11. She was involved in their Youth Fellowship and singing in the youth choir. While at North Charleston she met, fell in love, and married Gregg. They’ve been married for nearly 39 years. Gregg pastors Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Lydia, South Carolina, a congregation they love very much.
Nancy originally shared this message when Gregg attended an Annual Conference a few years ago. The congregation’s response was encouraging and they told others. So Nancy humbly began sharing this message with about twenty five churches including women’s groups.
About a year ago, through God's guidance that at first glance would appear to be coincidence, Nancy found Kenneth and John’s Tribulation Now ministry and these SDG Bible studies. Then the Lord “nudged” her to change up the end of this message as her eyes were opened to the fact that we are right on the precipice of Jesus’ soon return. This knowledge drove Nancy back to her first love of the Lord like a freight train, filling her with a love and compassion for the lost.
Now Nancy has a burning in her heart to tell all who will listen about the long-suffering grace of God and how He patiently waited on her to return to Him like the prodigal son. Our Father longs for a love relationship with each one of us and what He did for Nancy He will do for you!
Their ministry has brought joys and blessing beyond all Gregg and Nancy could ever ask or imagine and she’s forever grateful to Gregg for encouraging her to share this message of salvation and hope. Nancy also thanks Pastor Tom Evatt and North Charleston United Methodist Church and of course God for the strong Christian foundation they provided her.
Genesis chapters 37–41 only tell the low and high points of Joseph’s Egyptian slavery and imprisonment. But he spent at least 12 years there before he suddenly became the Egyptian Prime Minister. And during that terribly lonely, desolate time, things seemed to go from bad to worse. Imagine what Joseph might have experienced at about year nine into his sojourn.
Darkness had swallowed the light again. Joseph dreaded the night in this foul Egyptian hellhole. It was hard to fight off the relentless hopelessness as he waited the escape of sleep.
Day after monotonous day passed with no sign of change. The familiar desperation surged hot in his chest. His youth was seeping out the cracks of his cage. He was pacing in his soul. Joseph wanted to scream.
Fists to his forehead he pleaded again with God in the dark for deliverance.

Join author Craig Steven Wilder for a discussion of his recent book - Ebony&Ivy: Race, Slavery, and the Troubled History of America's University. Craig Steven Wilder is a professor of American history at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has taught at Wiliams College and Dartmouth College.
Many of America's revered colleges and universities - from Harvard, Yale, and Princeton to Rutgers, Williams College, and UNC - were soaked in the sweat and the tears, and sometimes the blood of people of color. The earliest academies proclaimed their mission to Christianize the savages of North America, and played a key role in white conquest. Later, the slave economy and higher education grew up together, each nurturing the other. Slavery funded colleges, built campuses, and paid the wages of professors. Enslaved Americans waited on faculty and students; academic leaders aggressively courted the support of slave owners and slave traders. Significantly, as Wilder shows, our leading universities, dependent on human bondage, became breeding grounds for the racist ideas that sustained them.
Ebony and Ivy is a powerful and propulsive study and the first of its kind, revealing a history of oppression behind the institutions usually considered the cradle of liberal politics.
Prayer of Intercession and Deliverance from Unhealthy Relationships. When we set or put our affection, which is love or care, on earthly things; it will always result in an "unhealthy" relationship. Many Believers have made the same error as Jesus' disciples. Satan waited until the opportune time in getting them to take their eyes off Jesus and to reject His words. REMEMBER, Jesus had given His disciples the instruction to go on over to the other side of the sea, but they choose instead to believe the raging and boisterous winds. This resulted in them being tormented by the spirits of fear and loneliness. Shalom †

Enjoying their air conditioning, Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo bring you another edition of the Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show.
In perhaps the most asinine (every sense of the word) NBA Finals in history, is 2013 revenge likely for the Spurs? What has been the biggest issues for Miami? Can San Antonio keep winning without more production from their stars? Mike does what he does best, defend those no one else is defending. It's his public service. This week, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade are his clients. They've been getting criticism, but did maybe LeBron and Wade actually handle themselves well under unprofessional circumstances by reporter Bobby Ramos?
Henrik Lundqvist reached his first career Stanley Cup Final. Unfortunately for him, he ran into an Los Angeles Kings buzz-saw. With a stranglehold on the series, does New York have any chance of a comeback? How can this Kings edition be compared to 2012's championship team? Where does the 2014 Los Angeles Hockey Club rank among the great squads of recent memory?
MLB already has its asinine debate topic of the season. Gregory Polanco has reached the show! With it being more than just a cup of coffee (pun very much intended), should Polanco have been with the Pirates sooner? What are the conspiracy reasons as to why Pittsburgh waited to call up one of their prized possessions?
Those never criticized. Those who are beloved. These are the people Mike can't stand. Despite past failures and a scandal, Phil Mickelson is often left alone by the media. Did Phil prepare us for another disappointing major performance with some arrogant comments?
No matter the conditions, they never cramp. The Howitzer and Buzz-saw conquer sports radio, one day, at a time....
“Yup. Game.” Men “Have you all hook, line, and sinker. At this point you might as well be a freaking joystick. We say stuff like that around women with the hope that, a couple days later, you’ll have the exact same conversation we’re having right now with one of your girlfriends, talking about how you can’t really figure him out.”
“So he’s making up all of that stuff about his family and his trust issues?”
“Yes and No. I’m sure he’s telling the truth. He probably does have trust issues. He’s a black man in America. We all have trust issues. Hell, a man can know you for five years and I still don’t trust your ass. Seriously though, some women could have only known a dude for two weeks. That’s not even three episodes of Jersey Shore. If he was really concerned with you helping him work through his trust issues, he would have waited a bit longer before revealing that he has trust issues. Why? Because he has trust issues, so he shouldn’t trust you.”
“So, what does he want?”
“You proved exactly how trust-worthy you are by giving him some ***"
