LINDSAY WAGNER: MORE THAN A BIONIC WOMAN

    in Entertainment

Lindsay Wagner's career spans over 4 decades. She is  one of the world's most popular actresses.  She first came to prominence in the critically acclaimed role of Susan Fields in Oscar-winning movie The Paper Chase, but received worldwide recognition when she broke the mold for women on television with her iconic portrayal of Jaime Sommers. As she collaborated with the writers, “The Bionic Woman” became an inspiration around the world & in 1977 Lindsay won the Emmy for “Best Actress in a Dramatic Role". This was followed by over 40 TV movies, 5 mini-series and several feature films and specials. Whether you have loved her since The Bionic Woman or just caught her recently in Warehouse 13, it is very unlikely that this icon of television hasn't captured your heart at some point during her wonderful career.

Lindsay invites listeners for one weekend only on Saturday, 8th and Sunday 9th August, 2015, to Lake Arrowhead, CA for "More Thank A Bionic Woman," a fun and unique trip down memory lane. Linda Wagner author of AS IS: Confessions of a True Fatty

    in Lifestyle

Linda Wagner is will be the first to admit that she had, and has a problem with pounds. In retrospect, she has gained and lost over 1,000 pounds over the years.  Although athletic as a child, her battle with life events that affected her eating decisions from age 11 hounded her through failures with everything from Weight Watchers at age 14 to bariatric surgery at age 48, when she was over 400 pounds. The surgery helped her to get down to 160 at age 50, her hard relationship with life and food put her back to over 300 pounds.

Her continuing effort, like that of a recovering alcoholic, is a daily effort to address,  head-on, the factors and the foods that affect her weight.

Accepting that she has a  problem, Linda re-focused on the facts, not the foods.  She found that that she did not have a weight problem, but she had a food relationship problem that enabled the weight.  For the first time in her life, Linda is losing weight the same way she gained it…one ounce at a time! She is down over 25 pounds and counting - based on reason, not rationing.  She Linda is re-engaged in her own personal relationship with herself.

The obesity and type 2 Diabetes epidemic  is costing us billions … and is killing more Americans than any other factor.  Millions of dollars-per-minute are being spent selling us bad food and worse

The obesity and type 2 Diabetes epidemic  is costing us billions … and is killing more Americans than any other factor.  Millions of dollars-per-minute are being spent selling us bad food and worse drugs to commercially fix a self-inflicted problem that we can fix …for free

But, obesity is a lonesome place. Individuals need allies, not advertising!

  • Dr. Taffy Wagner Money Talk Matters & Own Your Health Care w/ host Kevin Hunter

    in Business

Host Kevin Hunter is proud to feature Dr. Taffy Wagner, counselor in finances and marriage.

    About Taffy:

How long have you been doing premarital financial counseling and what made you focus on marriages?

It all started back in 1995 when I met my husband Eric, who had an independent career and counseling business for juniors and seniors in high school. He was saying to high school students and parents that students could go to college and get a four year degree in less than four years without putting the family in debt. I was introduced to him by some mutual friends because he was searching for some administrative help. I met him to interview for the job and shared my background with him not really know what it was that he did and learned shortly thereafter that I had DONE with my college education what he had been attempting to teach these families. Needless to say, I got the job and began learning the ropes of career and college counseling for high school students and families.

What type of clients do you work best with?

My clients generally are sick and tired of struggling financially, know there has to be a better way and are willing to accept responsibility for their past financial decisions and are ready to move forward. They are willing to INVEST in themselves and not seeing it as buying a service. They have DREAMS and GOALS they want to achieve and know they cannot do it alone.

A New Beginning Means The Old Beginning Must End..Looks To Be Any Moment

    in Current Events

16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.

24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.
