    Why vote in the November election...and sports update

    in Politics

    The topic for this episode is twofold - politics and sports.  I will discuss why it's important to vote in the upcoming midterm election.  All the House seats are up yet the incumbents have an advantage.  Why?  Are we complacent? And there is the issue of control of the Senate. But does it really matter?  Tune in to hear about the importance of voting, even though so many of us feel our one vote doesn't count.  In addition to politics, I'm going to talk sports.  The World Series.  College and Pro Football.  Politics and sports...can't get any better than that!

    Vote for Nick Augustine for Shady Shores, Texas Town Council, Place 2

    in Politics

    Keeping an eye on the past while focusing on the present and future, we can ensure Shady Shores, Texas will be a great place to buy a home and raise a family.

    If elected to Town Council, my votes will be in the direction of:

    (1) Spending cuts and maintaining our savings and assets for the future;

    (2) Manageable growth that increases our land values and preserves our charm;

    (3) Increased resident communication and involvement in future decision-making.

    Voting for me, Nick Augustine, is a smart choice because I am educated, available, and interested in adding a new sense of balance and viewpoints to our council with my volunteer background and experiences.

    I operate a local marketing and public relations business, which allows a flexible schedule to talk with residents anytime they give me a call or want to meet to talk about their concerns. Being on Council requires a great deal of work and I have the time to get it all done.

    I hope to see you all at the Candidates Debate on Monday, April 20th at 7:00 p.m.

    Volunteer Experience:

    Pleiadian Initiations with Christine Day

    in Spirituality

    Come join us for the second in a series of six powerful transmissions.

    As we move deeper into the transition that is taking place on planet Earth, the Pleiadians tell us that the time has now come for us to start mastering the energetic tools that will enable us to consciously complete our awakening and self-healing process.

    The new frequencies of light and sound that are now hitting the planet are awakening us to remembrance of and reconnection with our true Selves.

    In each episode of this twice-monthly show, international teacher, author, healer, and Pleiadian Ambassador, Christine Day, will present a new body of information and transmissions of sacred tones and codes specifically designed to act as energetic keys to unlock the information residing within the matrix of our cellular structure.

    One of the key messages of the Pleiadians is that we must accept our humanity and imperfections in order to facilitate the process of our own self-birthing into the Universal Consciousness.  By integrating these human aspects of our Self with our Higher Nature we will more easily navigate our way through this transition.

    Christine Day Online airs on the first and third Monday of each month at 2:30PM Central time.

    The View Up Here from the centre of the storm - the Alberta Election

    in Politics

    On May 5, 2015, Alberta heads to the polls in the most anticipated "unnecessary" election in more than a generation. In 110 years, only four political parties have formed Government in the province. So far every party that has lost power has virtually disappeared from the map.

    Considering this election was not necessary until 2016, Jim Prentice might be reconsidering a bit now. The PC's are in third place after 44 years in power. The New Democrats and the supposed dead Wildrose sit atop polling as they have from the outset of the campaign. There is a much different tone in the air this time around. No more coronations. It's looking like no more same old. General consensus is the higher the turnout, the bigger the loss for Prentice will be.

    We will look at the leaders of the five parties involved. We will look at any major policy goals of each. We will look at the one and only televised debate performances and effects of same. And we will look at the gaffes, leaks, mistakes, feuds, attacks and punditry of the campaign. It is not being discussed openly in media but the results in Alberta could be very influential as Canada heads towards a federal election this October at the latest. Jim Prentice and Brian Jean are both former MP's in Harper's CPC with Prentice far and away having the better of Jean on that score. So what would it tell Canada if the NDP formed government in Alberta of all places, over Emperor's messengers?

    Calls welcome, especially from Albertans! Join us for some insight into the seemingly ending conservative heartland.
