Dennis Carradin will explore the current Ebola frenzy and how it will have an effect on first responders in the U.S. Dennis will explore how first responders can stay safe during an outbreak and if all precautions are necessary or warranted. He will also discuss other potential dangers currently facing first responders. Join this informative episode of Own Your Life on Wednesday October 22 at 10 PM.
Hysteria over the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus is surpassing the previous hysteria over what use to be considered a death sentence, the AIDS virus. Today's disease control experts appear unsure how the Ebola virus spreads: is it through contact with body fluids, like AIDS? Or is it airborne? Can it be transmitted by insects, such as flies or mosquitoes? How effective are these "experimental drugs" being used to treat certain patients? Will people without health insurance who contact Ebola be left to suffer and die? And the big question: is this a deliberately manufactured disease for the purpose of "population control" on the African continent

Topic : - Virus, Vaccines and the importance of Anti-viral Aromatherapy Oils.
Most essential oils have some antiviral properties, but some are much better at combatting and treating viruses than others! Try to start using oils as soon as your symptoms start....it's easier to fend off viruses if they are caught early. In fact, using them as prevention is probably the best course of action! For example, some essential oils are beneficial for improving and boosting your immune system......but certain ones work better against specific viruses. Just to get you started here are some great, easy to get hold of antiviral essential oils such as: bergamot, cinnamon bark, clary sage, clove, dill, anise, eucalyptus, geranium, juniper, lavender, lemongrass, Melissa, neroli, rose, rosemary, tea tree and thyme.
More about the Antiviral Essential Oils:Viruses give rise to pro-teiform pathologies, some of which medical science can do nothing to cure. Classic responses to these infections are very limited, so essential oils are a godsend in treating viral problems, from the most common to the most fearsome. The molecules from many chemical families have shown an in-vitro antiviral activity, among them monoterpenols and monoterpenals. The cineole – monoterpenol synergy is used to treat viral pathologies of the respiratory tract (widely seen in temperate climes). This synergy can be found in many essential oils that come from trees of the Myrteceae family; these have been known forever for their interest in the treatment of pulmonary diseases. Another couple, linalool oxide – linalool (Hissopus off. var. decumbens) is also interesting for viral pathologies of the lower respiratory tract. Ketones, and especially rare cryptone, have shown an interesting capacity to fight naked viruses.
The International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses currently recognizes four species of Ebola: Zaire ebolavirus (EBOV), Sudan ebolavirus (SUDV), Reston ebolavirus (RESTV), and Taï Forest ebolavirus (TAFV).One additional species or type of Ebola is often recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as Bundibugyo ebolavirus (BDBV) or Ebola-Bundibugyo, following the outbreak in Uganda in 2007
Ebola outbreaks have been restricted to Africa with the exception of Reston ebolavirus. However, on 30 September 2014 a patient in Dallas, Texas who had recently travelled to Liberia in west Africa may have been infected with the same strain involved in the 2014 outbreak in that country.
Transmission between natural reservoirs and humans is rare, and outbreaks are often traceable to a single case where an individual has handled the carcass of a gorilla, chimpanzee, or duiker. The virus then spreads person-to-person, especially within families, hospitals, and during some mortuary rituals where contact among individuals becomes more likely. Before outbreaks are confirmed in areas of weak surveillance on the local or regional levels, Ebola is often mistaken for malaria, typhoid fever, dysentery, influenza, or various bacterial infections which may be endemic to the region. Learning from failed responses, such as that to the 2000 Uganda outbreak, public health measures including the WHO's Global Outbreak and Response Network were instituted in areas at high risk. Field laboratories were established in order to confirm cases, instead of shipping samples to South Africa.
