Another week has passed, and Penn State basketball still only has one loss. This week on the BSD Basketbro Show, Bill DiFilippo and Chad Markulics are joined by Sam Cooper of Yahoo! Sports. The guys discuss the team's wins over Virginia Tech and Marshall, preview next week's games against Duquesne and George Washington, and answer a burning question that was posed by the CBS Sports Network announce team: if Penn State makes it through the rest of the non-conference schedule without a loss, will Pat Chambers' squad be ranked? All of that and more in the latest episode of the best damn Penn State basketball podcast on the Internet.
The Eagles jumped back into the win column last week, and their 5-3 record has them on the cusp of bowl eligibility for the second straight year.
It's onto Virginia Tech.
On Saturday, a very dangerous and possibly desperate Hokies team will host the Eagles in a rivalry that's bordered on bitter through their recent history. It was during last season when we realized how good BC could be in a victory at home against this team. Now BC has a chance to claim bowl eligibility against its longtime rival.
There's much to love about this matchup. Both teams have played very well, but both teams are flawed and have lost games they probably could have or should have won. The Hokies are trying to avoid losing a third straight game and a second consecutive game at home, all while playing in the wide open ACC Coastal Division.
Tune in at 8 PM or call in at 646-200-0446 as Dan and AJ talk Hokies with guests, you, and more!
In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec welcome Freeport Area High School, football player Logan Thimons, to the show. Thimons, a junior linebacker, has verbally committed to West Virginia. He will graduate early, and enroll at West Virginia in January, of 2016. He led the team with 122 tackles and 24 for loss. His team missed the playoffs, this year, but finished with a 5-4 record. We will talk to Logan about his decision to attend West Virginia, and how he balances academics and athletics. Fasten your seat belts and put your foot on the gas, we are talking high school football.

Our goal is to make Jesus real to you. We don't charge to listen, we don't take donation or ask you to plant cash seeds. Our teaching will be direct from the King James version of the Bible. We might use the amplified to get a fuller meaning, but we want our base teaching to come from King James.
In a heartwrenching story from this past weekend, a Bosnian immigrant and newlywed was attacked and killed by teenagers wielding hammers. I spoke to his devastated brother this morning and will have more of that story.
Since the Grand Jury's decision last week to not indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, St Louis may not have kept it classy, but they certainly kept it interesting. Schools were closed, malls were shut down on Black Friday and into the weekend, and over 20 businesses were burned to the ground. We will talk about the events, the failures of Governor Jay Nixon, and what the hell happened with the National Guard.
We may even take a moment to sneer at the St Louis Rams.
If all goes well, I hope to add a couple of surprise guests as the show goes on, so be sure to tune in!
