Will Spanking Your Child Make Them A Violent Adult?
Discipline is considered "Training to act in accordance with rules" and yet many parents believe that good training requires physical force. "Spanking" is necessary to instill fear of authority, is the old school philosophy. But is it the best philosophy? Many people who achieve greatness attribute it to a loving, dedicated, hard working mother. But on the flip side, many sociopaths, killers, and sexual deviants had very hostile relationships with their mothers. What's the connection? Is "a good spanking" really the best way to mold a child? Or is it a mask for our own lack of self control and venting of anger? Do children raised without spankings turn out less violent than those raised with spankings? Were you spanked as a child? How do you express anger as an adult today? How has the parenting style of those who raised you shaped your personality?

TAKEN 4 granted – Unappreciated!!
The feeling of being taken for granted can be psychologically and emotionally painful. Simply put it hurts! In relationships, when it feels like the other person is taking you for granted, it can cause resentment and frustration. Is this a problem both man and women or is it more men that take women for granted or vice versa?
Warning signs
Never saying please or thank you or smiling at you Not responding to you when you speak Expecting you to pick up after them (clothes, dishes, etc.). No matter how much you do, it’s not enough… Being ignored or neglected Never taking the time to sit down and just talk with you Not making birthdays or anniversaries special occasions There is help –

Can Women of Faith Bring Peace to These Violent Streets?
Across the nation, families mourn the loss of their children due to horrific gun violence, and despite marches and rallies, the killiings continue. We are the mothers of the children who kill. What can we do to change the hearts of those who have gone astray and are acting out their frustration, rage, and hopelessness by shooting down those they perceive as enemies? Women of faith believe the answer is not in power of police but in the power of prayer. One Chicago pastor, Deborah Goosby, demonstrates that faith, with works, is what works. Her ministry addresses the physical needs of inner city youth as well as their spiritual rebirth.
