Modern Day Poets, Vancouver's Hot & Hip Indie Sensation, Stops By To Talk New EP

    in Indie Music

NWP welcomes Vancouvers own.... Modern Day Poets!

Modern Day Poets a.k.a. MDP was formed in Vancouver B.C. in February 2015. Like many bands before them, they were formed from past projects ending and artists looking for a new outlet. The direction they wanted to go in was clear, and so rehearsals began and months passed until they were ready to show their hometown what MDP was all about. With producer Jonathan Fluevog working closely with them they went into the studio to record 3 singles which they are releasing late 2015. The first single titled This City was Released on September 26th along with the music video which was directed by Colin Cunningham

MDP has gained more and more momentum after every show, with front woman Jina Anika tearing up the stage with her emotion and charisma and the rest of the band right behind her they are gaining a reputation for their high energy shows. Already playing some of Vancouver’s top Indie Venues and hand picked to play the Best of Vancouver Concert Series, they continue to hit the circuit hard and show everyone who comes to their show that MDP is here to stay http://www.moderndaypoets.ca   http://northwestprime.com
