    Victories We See

    in Finance

Cinco de Mayo is a celebration held on May fifth, commemorating the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. As Time magazine remarked, "The Puebla victory came to symbolize unity and pride for what seemed like a Mexican David defeating a French Goliath." It helped establish a much-needed sense of national unity and patriotism.

What unlikely victories have you achieved in your financial wars? What gives you a sense of pride and dignity?

We would like to discuss those events and ideas with you, and share some of our skirmishes as well.

Your Money Your Matters focuses on how to achieve greater financial security. We discuss everything from debt management to life experiences. We explore what tools are available to help consumers better manage their personal finances, and we answer your personal questions.

Your Money. Your Matters is a weekly show broadcasting every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to noon Central Time, featuring radio personalities Rick Grady, Cornerstone Credit Union League; Todd Mark, Navicore Solutions and Jenny Stewart, Consumer Credit Counseling Services.

    The Porch - Forgotten Victories

    in Spirituality

After looking at the lessons of Forgotten Warfare we must now learn from the Forgotten Victories shown to us in The Bible.

Getting back to basics by examining the Word of God and, especially, the Book of Acts Church, The Porch Online Bible Study is taking a deeper look into how the early church served the Lord.

Our desire is to find and restore the priesthood of the Believer and the world shaking influence the Early Church had. By delving deeper into scripture, we will find the Church the Lord intended and not the one man created.

The Church Age is not over and, therefore, what took place in the Upper Room is as much for now as it was on the Day of Pentecost. If you know that there is more to your spiritual walk with Yeshua/Jesus and you want more then you are welcome to join us on this journey as we get back to basics!

The Porch is an outreach of Solomon's Porch Inc. http://www.onsolomonsporch.org.  If you have any questions please visit the site and use the comment button.

    “Whatever one shares, is strengthened”

    Master Teacher Mitchell Gibson

We live in a world full of tragedies, sickness, and random chaotic mishaps. Without us knowing it our consciousness can easily become overwhelmed with prayer request and get stuck In a perpetual state of emergency. The Sundays show we’re going to give our listeners a way to balance this by sharing their miraculous victories with some of the many great tools that have been offered by Tybro in the form of powerful Prayers and various tools of Magick.

Every time we share a great victory over a terrible circumstance, serious illness, financial disaster, or broken relationship, it builds our faith, sharpens our spiritual perceptivity, and changes the consciousness of both the person sharing and the listener. The Tybro followers have had countless victories(as shared in our Solar Rejuvenation, Council of Imhotep for Healing, and Testimony and Gratitude to our Masters Groups), and now is your opportunity to participate in the process of healing and transformation of consciousness by calling in and sharing your victory stories/experiences with Magickal Prayer!!!

Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill (AIMI) Small Victories! June 24

    in Politics Progressive

Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill (AIMI) is on air Wednesdays around midnight EST. Join us by phone at (818)572.2947. This is PTSD Awareness Month, and we want everyone who battles with PTSD to know we support you. Congressman Tim Murphy (PA-18) announced $15 million in funding for Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) is included in the appropriations bill. Thank you for small beginnings, U.S. Congress. NAMI has pledged support for "Helping Familes in Mental Health Crisis Act of 2015, saying "Representatives Tim Murphy (R-Pa.) and Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Texas) have introduced HR 2646 ... This introduction begins a legislative process toward mental health reform, which is long overdue. NAMI has submitted a letter of support to Representatives Murphy and Johnson indicating our appreciation of their leadership and our commitment to work with them to pass comprehensive mental health legislation."  - See more at: http://goo.gl/2t27dE

More people are becoming aware of the injustice of imprisoning rather than treating mental illness. We attribute all three victories above to you, the People who stand up for the human rights of persons with serious mental illness. Homelessness, prison, and death must cease being America's response to serious mental illness. Thank you for giving "Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill" and to people who live under the threat of arrest because of a common, treatable health condition.

Please help our advocacy work to continue enjoying victories by purchasing a very well-written book by a lifelong human rights advocate who has bipolar disorder:  "Bloody Toombs" by Bob Darby now available through Amazon! http://goo.gl/LZvjSS > Read a long, free preview at this site! Select "look inside."

TLFR: TX Life Victories, Nick Vujicic, and Extended STE

    in Lifestyle

Today, we talk about the victories and disappointments coming from Texas. The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld TX's HB2, which now will result in even more abortion facility closures.  On the other hand, McKinney, TX is in the spolight for an alleged case of racial discrimination and police brutality stemming from the actions of a white police officer.  What are the pro-life implications of each story?

NARAL, too, is making some interesting admissions in a recent letter sent out to its supporters.  NARAL wants its supporters to help fight HR 36, the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, but it says something very odd about why.  Tune in to listen to the rationale.

With great pleasure, we play a great speech by motivational speaker Nick Vujicic.  Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs and once considered suicide to end his suffering.  However, through the salvation of Jesus Christ and a great perspective on life, he is still with us and moving so many hearts and minds in the pro-life direction.

Our Stupidest Thing Ever segment today is brought to you in the spirit of Caitlyn Jenner.  Don't miss it!

    Victories In Today's Cultural Battles

    in Politics Conservative

So many times both on this show and in this world today the news stories we read, review, or hear about are very negative.  Today, I wanted to do something that I do on occasion and share several stories that are very positive in one way or another.  Included in that are actually some updates on the Houston and Atlanta situations talked about on Saturday's show with the Houston mayor and the fired Atlanta fire chief.  I also have a story in Virginia in which a school district rightly decided not to persecute Christian students or Christian families.  Also there's a great viral story that has made the rounds about a certain Chick-Fil-A manager did for a homeless man who came into his establishment.  And there's a great swell growing in China as well when it comes to the spread of Christianity.  It's a positive show today and it starts at 4:30 Eastern time, archived for later listening
