‘A Killing in the Sun’ is a collection of speculative fiction from Africa. It draws from the rich oral culture of the author’s childhood, to tell a wide variety of stories. Some of the stories are set in a futuristic Africa, where technology has transformed everyday life and a dark force rules. Others are set in the present day, with refugee aliens from outer space, ghosts haunting brides and grooms, evil scientists stalking villages, and greedy corporations creating apocalypses. There are murder mysteries, tales of reincarnation and of the walking dead, and alternative worlds whose themes any reader will identify with. This collection is deftly crafted, running along the thin boundary of speculative and literary genres.

Remnant of the Restoration Age,
God desires to Completely Restore His people (you and I) in EVERY area of life. In this hour, in all our getting, we MUST get understanding (Proverbs 4:7b). Jesus tells us that in Matthew 15:13 that every plant that Elohim (our Creator) has not planted will be uprooted. It’s time for us to truly distinguish the REAL (God ordained) from the COUNTERFEIT (Fake).
Join us tomorrow morning, Monday 01/19/15 in the Upper Room Experience with Chief Apostle Shayla, where we will be uprooting, tearing down, destroying and overthrowing EVERYTHING operative within our lives that’s COUNTERFEIT.
When?: beginning at 5am(PST), 6am(MST), 7am(CST), 8am(EST)
Where?: On Blogtalkradio. To listen, call 657-383-1252 or visit http://www.blogtalkradio.com/whm
INTO THE GO-SLOW is a novel about sisters, the legacy of the Black Power Movement, and the troubled bond between African Americans and Africans.
It’s 1986, and twenty-one-year-old Angie is adrift in her hometown of Detroit. Her older sister, Ella, had disappeared in Lagos a decade earlier, and Angie decides to retrace her steps. Against a backdrop of Nigeria’s infamous go-slow—traffic as wild and surprising as a Fela lyric—Angie begins to unravel the mysteries of the past, and opens herself up to love and life after Ella.

The Word of God tells us in John 4:24 that God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must do so in spirit and in truth. Not only does God desire for us to access Him in His true form - which is spirit, He also desires for us (you and I His people) to get back to our true original form....spirit. Join us in the Upper Room Experience with Chief Apostle Shayla on Monday, 01/12/15, where like Jesus, His apostles, and disciples, we eat together, pray together and wait for the PROMISE of the Father (Pentecost Experience). It's time to for real overthrow this thing called flesh and get back to living in the SUPERNATURAL!!!
