Not everything happens as planned, though when things do, it's the best feeling. You must make a habit of expecting the worse, so that if something fails, you already have a back up! And if the first you don't succeed, try again.

    With Change Come Unexpected Consequences

    in Women

How many times have you heard “Change your mind change your life” or some version of it? Setting goals implies that you are going to make a change. What few people tell you is, that with change comes unexpected consequences. The consequences can be big or small; good or bad. Just knowing this can happen can make a big difference in how successful you are.

Because how you handle the consequences and the ripple effect will determine how fast you get going again and how fast you get results. This is the perfect time to reflect on your goals and to design a process to work through the inevitable to better results.

Haddie's In Our Closet: An Unexpected and Unusual Friendship

    in Paranormal

When most people go away for the weekend, they come back with great memories of the things they did, the people they saw, etc, etc. What if you went away for the weekend and came home with a new friend? However, there is just one slight detail about this friend that might be a bit difficult for you to explain. It just so happens that this friend is actually the spirit of an African-American nanny that has been stuck in her home for the last 150 years! For someone like J.H. Soeder, this was a very interesting situation because although he had been communicating with spirits since he was a child, he never had one that was stuck in a different time. This certainly was a challenge! In the book, Haddie's In Our Closet, J.H. Soeder talks about his unusual friendship with a spirit named Haddie. The relationship was not unusual because she was a spirit but because she was stuck in a time when white men did not befriend slaves and treat them as equals. J.H. has the unique opportunity of enlightening Haddie about how much the world has changed as well as helping her to “make the decision” to move on. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to award-winning author and famed animal communicator, J.H. Soeder about this inspirational book which is about friendship, family and enlightenment. This will really open your eyes about what Hollywood tells us about the spirit world and the huge difference about what the true reality is. Stay Tuned!

Smart and Unexpected Gains from Sports with Pat Flynn

    in Sports

The latest episode of the Sports Gal Pal Podcast featured guest is the creator and leader of Smart Passive Income podcast and website Pat Flynn. Pat is an incredible business podcaster - but he never gets to talk about sports. I loved having him on the podcast because he reveals a whole other side of himself. Here are the things we spoke about:

His own fan story - inspired by his father
His participation in the California Marching Band
His coaching his own children in sports
His experience being a leader on a woman's rowing team

In fact the rowing team was an interesting experience because it is very unusual for the coxswain to be the heaviest person on the boat - but in this case it worked for this team. I believe that this experience help Pat to see different approaches to life - and that has led to Smart Passive Income.

I also bring back one of Next Fan Up's Superfans, Tom of the Chicago Bears. Tom and I had a great conversation about the rising role of women involved in the NFL - it's my question of the week.

Rapture Ready; the Characteristics of of the Rapture; sudden, unexpected, Pt3

    in Religion

13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.
