The Minnesota Vikings will do battle with the Atlanta Falcons Sunday. The Vikes are 1-2 and home for the second time this season. The Falcons are 2-1 and on the road to take on a young Vikings teams with Teddy Bridgewater making his first NFL start. The Vikings must win Sunday or their season will continue its downward spiral. The Packers-Vikings rivalry is an NFL rivalry that is one of the most heated in the NFL. The rivalry began in 1961, when the Minnesota Vikings entered the league as an expasion team. The rivalry is known for very close games, both in all-time series and in each game. It also considered to be one of the most intense rivalries in the National Football League, due to their close games, the fact that both teams have often fought for the NFC North title and the fact that the two states in which these teams reside (Minnesota and Wisconsin) have a rivalry in many sports leagues such as the Big Ten Conference.

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble; presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will talk about the Green Bay Packers traveling to New Orleans, to take on the Saints. The Packers enter the game on a four game winning streak, and a 5-2 record. The Saints are coming off a last quarter collapse, that saw them lose to the Detroit Lions. The good news for the Saints (2-4), they are 2-0 at home. When you look at Offense, the Saints are ranked 2nd in both total offense and passing (437 and 314 yards, respectively). The Green Bay Packers are ranked 25th, in total offense, and 20th, in passing offense. These stats could be a bit misleading, because you have to take into account that the offense was in cruise control for much of the fourth quarters, against the Vikings and Panthers. On Defense, the Saints are ranked 12th, in yards allowed. The Packers are right behind them at 14th. The biggest difference may be in passing yards allowed, the Packers are ranked 6th, allowing only 214.9 yards per game. The Saints have struggled stopping the pass, allowing 270.5 yards per game. Stopping the run has been a problem for both teams, particulary the Packers. However, in recent weeks they have imporved but statistically, they are still giving up 147.9 yards per game. Listen to the show to see what the keys to the game are. Fasten your seat belts and put your foot on the gas, we are previewing the Packers vs. Saints, on Sunday Night Football.
