    in Spirituality

    Join the Blue Clique as we welcome Mr Twenty Twenty, as we discuss the power of the law of attraction and our divine power to create and manifest.  Mr. Twenty Twenty has a powerful story of having a near death experience when he was caught in a prison riot as a prison guard and through a series of events he came to learn, and know Neville Goddards work and philospohy. He now is the preeminant teacher of Neville's philosphy and teachings and teaches people all over the world the REAL practices and tenets of Manifesting. Eight Principles of New Testament Evangelism

    in Religion

    There are many books and seminars on evangelism, but our greatest and most effective resource will be the Bible. So we will look into Scripture and find out how Jesus in the early church were evangelizing their world, and if we will incorporate that within our lives we will be able to reach our city and county more effectively for Jesus. There are at least eight principles, that if we will apply daily to our lives, we will be fruitful and our church will grow. 1 Corinthians 1:23  But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

    Twenty-Six: Another awful day

    in Hockey

    Today was not a good day to be a fan of either hockey in general or the Kings in specific, as more details on the awful Slava Voynov case came out via his court hearing. We'll talk a bit about that with Stace (@stace_ofbase) from Battle of California, who wrote a great take on the story back when news first broke. But we'll try to lighten the mood a little too with tales of Stace's recent trip to watch the Sharks play the Alberta teams, and touch on their recent success, the Flames' recent downturn, and the Oilers decision to fire coach Dallas Eakins earlier today. We'll also have on Laura (@hildymac) from St. Louis Game Time to help us preview this week's home-and-home series between the Kings and the Blues.

    Twenty-Five: Still Not Broke

    in Hockey

    Yes, it's an honest-to-god milestone here on the Jewelcast, as we've hit episode 25! Celebrate six-plus months of technical difficulties with us as we'll stuff as many JFTC bloggers onto this week's episode as we can: editor-in-chief Eric (@EricJFTC) and contributor Sheng (@Sheng_Peng) join first-time co-host Robyn (@jollywhiskey) and, uh, that usual guy. In addition to the four of us, we're thrilled to have on return guest Ari (@thirtyfourseven) of SBN Flames blog Matchsticks & Gasoline, as she'll try to explain how the Calgary Flames manage to go 2-1-0 just about every single week of the season thus far. We hope you'll join us for this milestone episode!

    Twenty-Four: Garbage Pail Boys

    in Hockey

    For the second time, we'll discuss women in hockey blogging on the Jewelcast. Just like the last story that brought this subject to the forefront, a well-known male blogger/reporter has been caught harassing women on Twitter. We'll bring on an all-star panel of women to discuss why this continues to be a problem in our online community and what we can do to stop it: first up, we have Toni McIntyre (@ToniMacAttack), Penguins/Stars fan who blogged about the Stars for the Hockey Writers and actually was the one who first broke this story by bravely coming forward to document her harassment (and is making her second appearence on the show). Next we have Zoe (@zoeclaire_), longtime Penguins blogger across a number of different sites, currently at Hockey Without Propriety where she is absolutely hilarious (seriously go read her "Get to Know a Team" on the Flames like right now). Finally, we'll also be joined by Brigitte Lynne (@OneGirlOnePuck), formerly of The Royal Half, who's also a hockey blogging veteran via her own site, One Girl One Puck. We're really excited to have three awesome ladies with a ton of hockey blogging experience behind them to talk about their continued struggles in this male-dominated space, and we hope you'll listen in! And if you're a woman who wants to talk about your own experiences in hockey fandom, just like last time we'll be taking calls, so use either the Skype click-to-talk button or the guest call-in number to join us on the air!

    Twenty-Two: Panther Party

    in Hockey

    Tonight's Jewelcast comes to you with Noted Florida Panthers Expert Nicholas Chapin. Young Nicholas is an anthropological expert in all jungle cats but especially the Panther, and he'll bring his noted expertise to help us breakdown the Kings' upcoming matchup wit-okay you know what, he's our regular co-host. I'm lying. We don't have a guest tonight. But Nick actually does watch the Panthers a lot and we both allegedly watch the Kings a lot and you should listen to us talk about all of these things anyway, okay? Okay.
