Using a new microphone, Dr Jonas, your host, discusses Back to School issues seen by Family Physicians, in Ohio. After reflecting on August and September in the office, he gets philosophical (no surprise) about the role of the Family Physician including some comments about clinical decision through the patient-physician "human" relationship.
He floats through a few Tweets on Twitter before reading part of the AFP Community blog by Jennifer Middleton, MD about the role of the Family Physician.
At the end he plays the banjo a few notes and sings parts of a couple songs he wrote as a way of testing the new microphone.

Join Brenda as she welcomes back Nick Nash, in another lively and informative discussion. It is not too difficult to become confused when determining the truth and significance of actions that take place in our lives and, of equal importance, the sources we use to assist us on our spiritual journey. Many "messages" seem to be contradictory making it difficult to know who and what to really trust. Brenda and Nick will be using two specific articles as a reference to show how truth can convincingly be twisted.
One often-overlooked component that requires considerable recognition is sometimes referred to as "shamanic shifts", which essentially refers to an increased vibratory rate where we move "up" a level on our spiritual progression. As a result, we begin to draw new experiences and learning that we previously had not encountered. Brenda and Nick will be exploring some of the telltale signs that may indicate such a shift, as well as some experiences we may draw to us, as a consequence.
Be sure to check out Nick's latest two blog posts, which are a direct result of the last show he did with Brenda.
In the first show and second segment, I discussed the positive and negative strategies couples use to maintain a relationship and stay close during pregnancy. An example of positive behaviors to keep the relationship close is being open in a relationship. An example of negative behaviors explained in the second show is using avoidance or deception (which is not always bad) as a way to make sure the relationship is as normal as possible during pregnancy. In this third segment, I will have a female guest (who just gave birth) explain her experiences with the positive and negative ways she and her husband maintained their relationship during pregnancy and offering tips for future pregnant partners. Please join me and call in to share your feedback.
