The Twitter hashtag #CDCWhistleblower is about to hit ONE BILLION TWEETS!
For the past few months a group of health freedom activists have been tweeting the hashtag to shine the light on the fact that a scientist named William Thompson has been given whistleblower status.
Here are several articles for more information:

A TESTIMONIAL FROM JENNY HATCH
IN THE FALL OF 2009 I HAD JUST FINISHED UP A COUPLE MONTHS WORTH OF RESEARCH ON THE H1N1 VACCINE, AND WHAT I HAD LEARNED FRUSTRATED AND DISTURBED ME TO THE LEVEL THAT I ORGANIZED A “DON’T INJECT ME!” PROTEST AT THE CAPITOL IN DENVER AND INVITED ALL OF THE TOP VACCINE ACTIVISTS IN AMERICA TO ATTEND.
Should there be limits to free speech?
Only weeks after the demonstrations in support of freedom of expression for Charlie Hebdo, a French court has convicted three individuals for posting homophobic tweets.
The hashtag used in the tweets was "let's burn the gays." While there is no argument that the language is offensive and disgusting, should we begin placing limitations on free speech to exclude remarks of this type?
If so, who decides what the line for what qualifies as offensive and illegal?

I was watching a delightful and interesting video of the building of Disneyland sent by a friend when I got a phone call late last night from Kristinn Taylor alerting me to a story he just broke over at The Gateway Pundit
( http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/…/breaking-islamic-state-p…/ )
that was linked as the TOP headline at the Drudge Report.
It was news of the shooting in Garland TX of two self-proclaimed ISIS nut jobs who were protesting a FREE SPEECH event -- Draw Muhammed cartoon contest -- organized by a mutual friend Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer of JihadWatch.org
I've met Geller -- and Spencer -- several times and have had them on my radio program numerous times over the past few years. Somehow we bloggers/writers/researchers/reporters in the new social media are all connected... it's amazing to realize the network we've created over the past fifteen years.
Anyway, my point is, I never did get back to the Disney vid. I spent the next few hours helping Kristinn grab screen shots of tweets sent out from these ISIS loons to illustrate his reports.
Never a dull moment... never. Especially not on tonight's show.
Using a new microphone, Dr Jonas, your host, discusses Back to School issues seen by Family Physicians, in Ohio. After reflecting on August and September in the office, he gets philosophical (no surprise) about the role of the Family Physician including some comments about clinical decision through the patient-physician "human" relationship.
He floats through a few Tweets on Twitter before reading part of the AFP Community blog by Jennifer Middleton, MD about the role of the Family Physician.
At the end he plays the banjo a few notes and sings parts of a couple songs he wrote as a way of testing the new microphone.
