It is hard not to be human. We are a fallen being. We have to understand we a programed to do the wrong thing. We are selfish and awful. So even in this political season when there are great opportunities we must resist the temptation to settle old scores.
We may want to hide this in so-called reform, but the truth is that we are trying to press an advantage to "stick it" to people that we have disagreement with.
So today we are going talk about the practice of the COUP as practiced by some Campaign For Liberty groups across the nation. Not going to make any friends today.

For the first time since 2010 Tennessee is going bowling. There is a lot to digest in this week's episode. Daniel and Zack discuss the season and if it was a success. Was it a good year? An average season? Could it even be called underachieving? The guys talk about the positives and negatives on both sides of the ball and what they thought was the biggest thing to take away from the offense and defense. The guys preview the Taxslayer Gator Bowl coming up, give bowl predictions, and go through a season wrap up of Quick Twitch.
So I will be trying a different approach to hosting the show tonight to make sure there are no technical problems. If this works, I will be using this technique to host the show from this point on until I can get Skype Unlimited again.
Anyway, tonight we will be paying our respect to Prince Endymion/Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask/Darien Shields/whoever you want to call him. He recently passed & his dead body was mutilated & abused as of today's episode as a result of Kunzite attempting to kill Sailor Moon in the last episode. We'll also be discussing Princess Serenity a little bit as well as the last 2 SAO II episodes.
If you want to call in & discuss Sailor Moon Crystal, Sword Art Online or general anime, call in at (516) 418-5668 or click the Skype button!
IF THE CALL-IN QUEUE IS FULL OR YOU WANT TO CALL INTO AFTERSHOW AT 11:30 PM-11:45 PM, CALL OUR BACKUP PHONE LINE AT: 218-936-4971 & DIAL PIN 227528#
SHOW NOTES: In the MYTH WARRIORS™ series we are targeting ideas to begin to assess whether they are credible or not. The topic for this episode is, “Trying to lean on someone who bends is futile.”
In many shows we share quotes from famous (or infamous) or notable individuals. Yet, information comes from all types of sources. I found the quote that is the show topic at http://forums.narcolepsynetwork.org/index.php?/topic/6237-breaking-up-cuz-he-just-doesnt-care/.
We are not evaluating the credibility of this public internet discussion forum, but instead are assessing the content of the assertion. Is it a myth that when we try to lean on (emotionally or physically) someone who bends that it will be pointless (or futile)?
If our goal is to lean on someone and remain standing (literally or figuratively), it is logical that if I lean on someone for support (to remain standing) and they bend that I will fall. Thus, it is futile to lean on something that is not stable enough to support (or hold) me. But, how do we know who will bend and who will hold us? The most helpful answer is to remember what the person did the last time you tried to lean on them.
"Definition of FUTILE 1: serving no useful purpose : completely ineffective <efforts to convince him were futile> […]” Futile. (n.d.). Retrieved June 5, 2014, from http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/futile
The alternative scenario is in, “He ain’t heavy, mister… he’s my brother.” This idea has been in popular culture and you can read about it at http://www.boystown.org/blog/the-story-behind-he-aint-heavy.
So, who are you going to lean on?
