    When You're Faced With Trouble

    in Christianity

    Psalm 27:1-5 New King James Version (NKJV)

    1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
    Whom shall I fear?
    The Lord is the strength of my life;
    Of whom shall I be afraid?
    2 When the wicked came against me
    To eat up my flesh,
    My enemies and foes,
    They stumbled and fell.
    3 Though an army may encamp against me,
    My heart shall not fear;
    Though war may rise against me,
    In this I will be confident.
    4 One thing I have desired of the Lord,
    That will I seek:
    That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
    All the days of my life,
    To behold the beauty of the Lord,
    And to inquire in His temple.
    5 For in the time of trouble
    He shall hide me in His pavilion;
    In the secret place of His tabernacle
    He shall hide me;
    He shall set me high upon a rock.

    MORNING TALK WITH THE RED HAWK...WHEN LIFE THROWS YOU A CURVE BALL

    in Lifestyle

    Good morning, good morning, GOOD morning!!!  Monday morning, again, and how was that weekend???  Wasn't so bad, you made it out.  Anywho, today's topic is, WHEN LIFE THROWS YOU A CURVE BALL.  And we all know that life does have a tendency to do that.  But when it happens, what do you do, do you stand there, and try to swing at it, or do you just stand there, and let it go on by?  Most people will try to swing at it, while others, feel there's no need to swing, and pass up the opportunity to knock it out the park.  Learning to hit curve balls, is a great skill to have, and in life, seeing that we don't know when one is going to be thrown, it's best to practice swinging, when you have the opportunity.  Well, as always, you also have the opportunity to support the show by way of using http://www.paypal.com and using the email address, redhawk1967@hotmail.com.

    Baltimore Trouble, similar to Temple Trouble.

    in Religion

    The devil has a million reasons for you to die. GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOU TO LIVE.  Listen to the Holy Spirit through Pastor Fran who is highly concerned for the saftey of both citizens and public servants "Police Officers" through out the USA.  Reference Ezra 4-6, Haggai and Zecharian.

    When sections of Baltimore erupted in violence on Monday, Bishop Walter Thomas, a local pastor at the New Psalmist Baptist Church, received a call for clergymen to gather at North Avenue in an effort to restore calm in a city reeling from the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old who mysteriously died in police custody last week.

    Thomas found himself among a line of 175 pastors, their arms linked together, as they worked to clear Baltimore’s main thoroughfare, urging groups of young men and women to go home. Baltimore’s police waited several hundred yards behind them, hoping the clergymen could disperse the crowd in their stead, according to Thomas.

    Politics Done Right - We are in trouble when comedians explain Baltimore better

    in Politics

    This week all the traditional mainstream media descended on Baltimore. There was acomment by protester Danielle Williams to MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts that exposed the dereliction of duty by the traditional mainstream media. She said the following.

    “My question to you is, when we were out here protesting all last week for six days straight peacefully, there were no news cameras, there were no helicopters, there was no riot gear, and nobody heard us,” Danielle Williams said. “So now that we’ve burned down buildings and set businesses on fire and looted buildings, now all of the sudden everybody wants to hear us. Why does it take a catastrophe like this in order for America to hear our cry?” she continued. “I mean, enough is enough. We’ve had too many lives lost at the hands of police officers. Enough is enough.”

    There is much within that statement.

    What do you think. Let’s talk about it.

    Talking In Circles: Duck Commander 500, New All-Star Rules, Crew Chiefs trouble

    in Sports

    On this episode of Talking In Circles we break down the Duck Commander 500 from Texas Motor Speedway and take a look at who's hot and who's not. Also we talk about the sudden and surprising drop in tv ratings from Saturday night's race. We discuss why and if that'll be a trend in NASCAR or just a blip on the radar.

    Also as we are 7 weeks in the season there are a few drivers who are in the top 20 who are surprising. Aric Almirola, David Ragan, Paul Menard, Danica Patrick, Casey Mears and AJ Allmendinger are all in the top 20. We give you our opinions on who will stay, and who will fall.

    Also with some surprises come some disappointments and usually in the middle of the season the crew chief is replaced, not the driver. With that being said we give you guys a few names of crew chiefs who could be in some trouble in the coming weeks.

    Also we discuss the changes to NASCAR's All-Star race. Instead of the top two finishers in the event they will go with the two segment winners from each event to transfer from the Sprint Showdown to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. Also they've added pass event winners who currently runs the full season in the Cup Series. Right now the event is at 20 drivers. But how have these changes helped/hurt the event and what other changes would we like to see in the All-Star race, that's discussed.

    John Harlow from BeyondTheFlag.com joins the show as well to give us his thoughts on this week's topics and we take your phone calls!
