Join Lori Mercer, Chief Fire Wife at FirefighterWife.com and a panel of fire wives as they discuss how they overcame the fears and worries associated with being the wife of a firefighter.
We want to inspire all fire wives to not be handcuffed by those emotions, especially surrounding tragic events such as 9/11.
We will share fire wife tools to help you balance the emotion, the grieving and the "take action and move on" required in the fire wife lifestyle.
If you listened to my very first broadcast with Gail Roddy, you have no idea who The Working Wife is because I completely forgot to introduce myself or tell you anything about why I do what I do.
During this show, I will share with you who Mairo Jimeta Akpose-Simpson is. Some of you know me as a Wife; some as a Mother; others as a Career Woman. But even with what you know, you don't fully know ME.
So, grab your fav beverage and snack and learn a little something about ME...who knows, you may just learn a little something about YOU too.
With so many single women in the U.S., especially African American women, we have to ask - is the problem men that don't want to marry, or is it that modern women aren't what men are looking for when they say "my wife?"
What exactly is it that men are looking for when they marry? What makes a woman wife material or not?

We here about common every day people being in abusive relationships but rarely hear the stories of women in the church in Leadership positions being abused. However, there are many who sat on the front row of the church, displaying support of a Pastor/Husband and was probably beaten the night before attending service on Sunday/Saturday mornings.
What is it like to be a First Lady and the Pastor of the church is your abuser? How do you keep a straight face as he is preaching to the congregation knowing that this same man brutalizes you? Why do you not tell someone in the church about the abuse you are subjected to? Who do you go to if your husband/wife is the HEADSHIP of a church?
We will be speaking with Elder Jane Kittrell, former First Lady and Pastor's wife.
We are going to ask these questions of a powerful Woman of GOD who survived the hands of a "pastor."
Let's discuss this touchy subject and look into why these are different and how can we get better with this. Call the show (818)301-5834.
Host Cyrus Webb welcomes NFL Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams to Conversations LIVE to discuss what drives him in life, how his idea of success has evolved and why it's important for him to pay it forward in life.
Here's the show that most of you have been waiting for. It's the show where we are going to interview and coach a stepmother who claims she has the craziest (she calls it bat s--- crazy) ex wife on the planet. This is actually a famous person, but you know how it is. We're going to keep it anonymous. Sorry.
Let the conversation start. Let the suggestions flow. Get ready to laugh and cry. It's going to be one of those! I set this one up for an hour and a half. It may go on and on!
