Welcome to Bill Martinez Live, hosted by an unapologetic AMERICAN U.S. Marine of Mexican descent who knows why people come to America but demands that immigrants come through the front door and that the rule of law is respected. Bill Martinez Live waves just one flag and has no use for hyphenated hearts torn between the 4th of July and some other foreign flag. We put the United States over party politics and broadcasting our unstinting praise of this great land to 250 American cities through CRN, BML syndication and the ever popular Blog Talk Radio platform.
Listen in to the show to hear every facet of the issues but keep your eye on God and the exceptionalism to which he has urged on America and its people. Our nation is at a crossroads but remember your solemn birthright fellow Americans as "We the People". See more at: http://billmartinezlive.com/about-the-program/#sthash.tooJ0atj.dpuf
Artist Lorri Deyer talks about her project The Idea Truck, a restored and customized taco truck that she drives around the city of Los Angeles, and the only thing on the menu is IDEAS. The truck is parked in a public place and passers-by are asked to give her an idea of theirs, in exchange for another.
Lorri's work challenges viewers to examine the unconsidered aspects of their immediate surroundings. She has been working in the public realm, and exhibiting her work, since receiving her MFA in 2009 from California State University.
Hosted by Kara Tome, GYST Radio Host and independent curator.
On tonight's show we talk about today's qualifying for the Geico 500; or the lack there of it. It was a MADHOUSE which lead to Ricky Stenhouse, Jr, Joe Nemechek, and Justin Allgaier missing the race. Terry Labonte in his final start will roll off 9th. And Brian Vickers is on the pole.
We'll break down qualifying and see if Clayton was right about qualifing on our Wednesday show. And what can NASCAR do to fix this?
Also, we'll break down the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race today in Talladega as well. Timothy Peters goes to victory lane in his Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra, but that also was a crazy race, and is it a preview of what we will see tomorrow?
With the shortage of safe and secure parking for our nation's truck drivers back in the news, join us as we discuss the dangers drivers face every day because of the lack of safe truck parking availability.
Who is responsible for putting drivers at added risk? Where are the most difficult areas to find truck parking? How are regulations adding to the already dangerous parking situations? Who doesn't want to see more available truck parking?
Our guests include Hope Rivenburg of Jason's Law, Desiree Wood of Real Women in Trucking and our special guests, Ashley Boeglin and David Clark, wife and father-in-law of Michael Boeglin.
We will also review some startling results of the 2013 National Truck Parking Survey led by Hope and the detailed data analysis performed by Ms. Wood.
Join us for this very important broadcast.
