For the first time in their storied history, the Sons of Troy will come east to take on the Boston College Eagles!
Tune in at 8 PM EST (5 PM PST) as Dan and AJ talk about last week's game against Pitt and begin previewing the game on Saturday night against USC. The Trojans are coming off a tough game against Pac-12 rival Stanford, but they also are a team that slaughtered BC in the LA Coliseum last year, 35-7. The game will be one of the featured national games of the week, finding itself on national television under the lights in Chestnut Hill.
USC is 4-0 lifetime against the Eagles, but they're a very different team from the one that took on Steve Addazio's crew last year. The Trojans defeated BC right before head coach Lane Kiffin was fired, and they transformed overnight from a 4-3 middle-of-the-road program to a 10-4 bowl champion. Now they're a nationally ranked team under the direction of new head coach Steve Sarkisian, and storylines are already abound.
Be sure to tune in and be sure to call in as the Eagles take on the Trojans for the first time in Boston!

Tune into this episode of the BYGP Locker Room Show, to hear from USC Legend and former Detroit Lions, first round draft pick, Johnnie Morton! Johnnie, was a consensus All-American at USC and was a bonifide playmaker in the NFL, with the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
It takes time, attention to detail, health and great work-ethic, to last in the game as long as Johnnie did. He has an amazing football testimony, that many players can gain value from. Take advantage of the opportunity. Join us!
We are extremely excited at Before You Go Pro, to have LaJuan Ramsey, come into the BYGP Locker Room, and drop some knowledge on our audience. LaJuan was an All Pac-10 performer and interior force on the USC Trojans football team, during their Pete Carroll Championship years. Then he went on to be drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles and play for years in the NFL.
However, we are really interested in how Mr. Ramsey transitioned from football to his current line of profession, which is being a high-end culinary chef. With Before You Go Pro, we constantly talk about being more than a one-trick-pony. Yes! we are athletes, but athletics can open doors to many opportunities and LaJuan will tell us how today in the BYGP Locker Room. Tune in!
There's no reason to come down off the high from Saturday quite yet!
We're not quite sure if AJ is still alive, and Dan may still be running through the mods hugging everyone in sight, but they should be back for Tuesday's radio show. Boston College is coming off arguably its biggest home victory and one of its most memorable wins of all time, a 37-31 thriller over #9 USC, so tune in at 8 PM EST as we revisit what happened at Alumni Stadium on Saturday night.
There will also be the task of putting BC on the track for Saturday's game against Maine. As we've learned, there's no reason to ever have a hangover game, even if it's against an FCS opponent. This will be a great chance for BC to level set their season at the quarter pole with a 2-1 record.
Many of us said the Eagles would be 2-1, but we never thought it'd happen this way.
We'll also have some guests on to talk Boston College, so tune in at 8 PM EST or give us a call at 646-200-0446 to discuss!
Jeremy and Mouth are joined by USC correspondent Keith Goldberg to break down the Trojans. Then they role solo to discuss the UCLA Bruins, and SDSU Aztecs.

The NFL today versus the NFL in the early years. A frank and facinating talk with one of the greatest NFL players of the 50's and 60's. The question begs to be answered.....is today's NFL football really football in it's purest form or has it been changed to satisfy the media and other interests.

Inspirational Coach & Author Jim Johnson and
My guest this Wednesday is Coach Jim Johnson, author of the bestselling book, "A Coach And A Miracle". On Feb. 15, 2006, Coach Johnson made the kindhearted gesture of inserting his autistic manager, Jason McElwain, now known to the world as J-Mac into Greece Athena High School’s final home game, which the Trojans won 79-43. J-Mac scored 20 points in just over four minutes, including six three-point baskets, to become an instant national celebrity. Coach Johnson, also, was featured in major news outlets around the country.
Coach Johnson has made a number of radio and television appearances, including the Oprah Winfrey and Jim Rome shows. In 2006 he met President George W. Bush, Governor George Pataki, and Senator Hillary Clinton, to name just a few luminaries. The Athena team was also paid a visit at school by NBA legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson. J-Mac’s magic moment won the ESPY for “Best Sports Moment” at the ESPN awards show later that year.
