Most Christians across many denominations have been taught the doctrine of the "Trinity", one God in three persons. It is considered a "foundational" truth. But what does the Bible say? Does this doctrine stand up to Holy Scriputres? What will you see if you looked into Heaven right now? How about if you looked into heaven after the millenial regin of Christ? We serve the Lord of Glory. How many glories does God have? Join brother Jim in this teaching message and find out! Amen and Amen.
In this episode, Sacerdotus speaks on the Holy Trinity. He explains where the dogma came from and how it is rooted in Sacred Scripture. The Holy Trinity is a dogma that no one can truly grasp due to the finite limits of the human mind. However, Sacerdotus uses psychology and logic to explain how God can be three Divine persons in one.
God is too immense to be truly understood in totality by the human mind via reason. We rely on the information given to us via Christ, Sacred Scripture, Tradition, faith and reason in order to understand this unity of persons in one God to the best of our ability.
Sacerdotus makes it clear that there is only ONE God while being Divine Persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He counters objections made but Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims and others who believe the Trinity is a form of polytheism.
Brief Audio Reflection "The Biggest One of All": (Matthew 28:16-20), Trinity Sunday, Year A
Our faith is replete with mysteries and wonders. This week we reflect on the biggest one of all. Five brief verses, that’s all we get. It’s a tiny gospel for such a big message… the very nature of God… the Blessed Trinity. We have no MRI images or DNA analysis of the Divinity. So, short of heaven, the word of Jesus is the only clear window we have into the heart of God. It tests our faith and doubtless it was meant to. But Jesus precisely packs so much into every word that it is more than enough for the faithful.
The core of this gospel is a passage that has come to be called The Great Commission. In his final charge to the disciples, Jesus bids them: Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son; and of the Holy Spirit. Note the significance of the singular. Jesus empowers them in the “name” of God… not in the plural “names” of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That’s because they are one. God is one… three, yet one.
The mutual love of Father, Son and Holy Spirit clearly transcends time and stands as testament to our Triune God. Three in One… One in Three… Creator, Redeemer, Abider… through the prism of faith the beauty is sublime; the symmetry is exquisite. In faith the toughest question becomes our greatest comfort. In faith our response to the biggest mystery is not bewilderment. It is adoration.

Before the abolishment of slavery in the United States, freed and escaped slaves in the 1700s and 1800s headed north to Canada and established a city called Africville. Our show on July 23rd will be a special show and broadcast "live" from Halifax, Nova Scotia (Africville) as part of our education tour to the birth of Africville, Nova Scotia.
Nova Scotia is considered the birthplace of modern ice hockey. On this tour, we will learn about the establishment of The Colored Hockey League by upstanding role models and an organizational talent never seen in Black sport.
We will interview various guests with ties to this rich history who will share with our listeners stories about the people how pioneered with a spirit that lives on. This broadcast will be in conjunction with the Africville Reunion, which is celebrated every July. They come to reminisce, to re-acquaint and re-establish themselves as a community. And we will celebrate with them!

The Trinity Doctrine in the Hebrew Scriptures
Christians claim that God is both a Unity and a "Trinity": This makes absolutely no sense to either Muslims or Jews. In fact SEEMS to violate a law of logic called "The Law of Non-Contradiction": that a thing cannot be "A" and "non-A" at the same time. This Thursday at 9:30 pm on "Jewish Roots" we put this Trinity doctrine to the test. Where did the Church get it from? Roman Catholic tradition? A biblical corruption in translation that the Qur'an has since corrected? Or a fanciful New Testament leap of faith that has no basis is Jewish thought? Tune in and take notes! Your host: Rev. Rick Anderson on "Jewish Roots", each Thursday at 9:30 pm EDT. Listen LIVE at www.blogtalkradio.com/fougcrew or through Twitter, LinkedIn, GooglePlus and facebook.com/fougcrew.
