How happy are you with your career? What are you doing to further it, or NOT? Sometimes we subliminally (or overtly) sabotage our careers out of fear, lack of motivation, or low self esteem. Learn how to stop self-sabotage in your career, and how to boost your potential. Trina and her guest, Coach Tara Andrews of Joy Full Coaching LLC, will explore these topics. Please join us!
Tara Andrews is a lawyer, certified coach and Owner & CEO of Joy Full Coaching, LLC. Drawing on her 12-year journey from entry level staff with a local nonprofit to senior executive of a national organization, Tara excels at coaching and training executives, teams and organizations to overcome self-sabotaging behaviors and fully become the person or movement they need to be to effectively execute the vision with precision and impact. Tara now helps her clients understand that success lies not in any one person’s charisma, or any one organization’s financial backing, but in the ability of critical team members to articulate the vision, build/manage the necessary infrastructure, problem-solve with courage and quickness, and effectively rally the troops to the cause. On April 21st, we welcome Trina Spillman, co-founder and President of The Need to Feed, Inc., to the show
Trina has a proven track record in both the public and private sectors, and has always approached social issues from a unique vantage point. In fact, 15 years ago Trina and her husband Keith founded The Need to Feed, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing fresh produce for those in need.
When the couple relocated to South Florida, it was clear the mission of The Need to Feed was more important than ever, particularly in Broward County where 286,780 households are facing food insecurity. Sixty six percent of those households do not qualify for SNAP or other nutrition programs.
Over the past year, with the Spillman’s at the helm, The Need to Feed, Inc. has grown over 3,000 pounds of fresh produce at its two garden locations for food pantries in Deerfield, Pompano, Ft. Lauderdale and Hollywood; has conducted planting demonstrations for over 600 participants; has conducted cooking demonstrations for 2,883 participants and has served over 8,000 meals to members of the community.
