After being down 3-1 early in the third period, the Rangers put together a nice old fashion comeback, as the team went on and won 4-3 in overtime after a goal by Kevin Klein, who has been nothing more than a GOAT for this team lately.
Join Rob, Shawn and Nick as they deliver the analysis and give you some great reaction after a solid game by your New York Rangers.
A group of 47 independent small business owners that own retail vapor establishments located throughout New Jersey and sell electronic cigarettes have formed the New Jersey Vapor Retailers Coalition in order to oppose the tax proposed by Governor Christie on electronic cigarettes in his proposed budget. The Coalition is being represented by national public affairs firm MWW Group and the coalition counsel is Edward J. Albowicz, Esq., Counsel, Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer P.A. of Woodbridge, NJ.
Governor Christie’s budget anticipates $35 million in revenue by enacting "tax parity" between cigarettes (currently taxed at $2.70 per pack) and electronic cigarettes, which can be used to deliver nicotine in a water-like vapor.
Ryan Bunting, owner of e-Volution Vapors of Somerville, NJ, a member of the New Jersey Retailers Coalition, will discuss the negative impact this tax can have on his business and why fellow small business owners have formed this Coalition to oppose this tax.

Following the confirmed Ebola case in NYC of Dr. Craig Spencer, NY Governor Andrew Cuomo and Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey announced a mandatory quarantine for individuals deemed high risk.
Patients who have had the highest level of exposure to the virus will be quarantined at a "government-regulated facility" for 21 days.
Will the quarantine be used in a rational, effective manner that prevents the spread of the deadly virus? Or, could this be the beginning of a "FEMA camp" scenario that many have feared for so long?
With indicators showing one-fourth of all seniors and one-third of all people in New Jersey struggling to meet basic needs, the Anti-Poverty Network convened its annual summit December 3, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Monroe to address rising levels of poverty in the state and issue a “Call to Invest in the People of New Jersey.”
At the summit, the Anti-Poverty Network (APN) of New Jersey convened a broad cross-section of community leaders, state and local policymakers, advocacy organizations, educators and faith-based groups to discuss ways to address the most critical issues affecting financial insecurity in our state: housing, hunger, healthcare and economic empowerment. The ultimate goal of the Summit was to lay the groundwork for a partnership with state officials and leaders in business, education and community development to develop strategies to ensure a safe, productive and stable future for New Jersey residents.
On this edition of Live From Trenton, we will speak with Jim Jacob, APN Chair and President and CEO of NJSHARES, Joyce Campbell, APN Vice Chair and Associate Executive Director for External Affairs, Catholic Charities and Assemblywoman Gabriela Mosquera (D4), who gave the keynote address at the event.
