Barbara Conelli interviews traveler Nisha Jha.
Nisha is a solo woman backpacker from India where women generally do not venture out unaccompanied. She has been to 25 countries. Nothing excites her more than learning and relishing life’s simple little pleasures about new places, people and cultures. Travelling is both her strength and weakness. Adventures in Montreal
Travel Brigade heads to Montreal for interviews with local experts on fun things to do and see in this city such as the botanical gardens, the underground city, Olympic Park, Le Ronde amusement park and jet boating on the Lachine Rapids. We'll also talk about the historic Fairmont hotels in the area, and how they tie in to the history of Canada. Since no visit to Montreal would be complete without talking hockey, we'll pay have an interview focused on the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Hall of Fame. We'll also discuss why it is that the residents of Montreal, who are always bilingual and often trilingual, are so friendly. Enjoy the trip! Follow us on Twitter @TravelBrigade.

Traveler's Adventures With Linda Heslegrave
Barbara Conelli interviews adventurer Linda Heslegrave.
Linda Heslegrave has two passions – travel and reading. Her favourite quote: “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” (St. Augustine). She travels with passport, toothbrush, books, credit card, local cash and some clothes. Her memories are her photos. She lives in Toronto, Canada.
Linda’s itchy feet have taken her to all continents except Antarctica. She regularly returns to New York City, London, the south of France and Spoleto, Italy. She wants to revisit Denmark, Nepal, Australia, Puerto Escondido, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Istanbul and Fez. She loves the vibrancy of Mexico City. Linda’s wish list includes Vietnam, Argentina, Chile, Japan, Jordan, the Faroe Islands and the Canadian High Arctic. She wants to attend performances at all the great opera houses. There’s always another page in the book. Linda spends her downtime in Muskoka, Ontario, reading travel books and researching her next trip.
Linda is a Canadian Representative for Martin Randall Travel (MRT). MRT is the leading specialist in cultural holidays, organising a unique series of all-inclusive music festivals and around 220 small-group tours every year in the UK and Europe, Middle East, India, Africa and North America. www.martinrandall.com
