Tonight we go in on the hottest issue in the Black Church that has caused quite a stir in the last few hours!
We are going to go in DEEP on the video of the young man who has claimed that "I'm Not Gay No More" to be delivered from homosexuality and the tidal wave of debate, controversy and fiery responses from those on both side of the argument who either claim that it is possible to be set free from homosexuality as well as those who say that it is impossible.
One of the reasons why this has set off such a storm is that homosexuality has always been a touchy issue in the Black church with many choosing to deal with it head on as well as those who've opted to hide their head in the sands of denial about it.
Make sure to tune in to this program and listen to our own Pastor Damon Richardson break down this latest phenomenon of controversy as well as all who desire to call in and participate!
Intelligent dialogue is what will transpire here tonight and insults, put downs and ignorance will not be tolerated!
See you there!
Remembrance Day has been used once again by the Corporate Pacification Committee and Emperor Harper to spread as much false fear and dogmatic jingoism as the compliant mass media can handle. With nary a mention of the closing window to jump into the biggest corporate welfare program ever - the F-35.
But this is hardly the only transgression. The terrible income-splitting plan that benefits the usual crowd only. Despite the constant propaganda in favour. The refusal to examine a national daycare plan. Despite Quebec's implementation of one. The Government keeps talking about the medical marijuana initiative and it's "progress". But the red tape gets longer and thicker for licenced growers. Watch for a monopoly of friends to appear, just like privatized alcohol sales.
Joining me to analyze these issues is Polly Ticks @PTicks. She describes herself as a 40 something marketing, research and social media consultant. A reformed political worker and avowed centrist, who flirts with libertarianism. She has voted for all parties at some point, now advocating for those with no voice like military, medical marijuana patients and vulnerable families. She has a long history of volunteering, community involvement, and is currently a PR and research student.

How should we be praying? Often times we only pray in times of trouble, but that is only scratching the surface of what prayer life should be like.
Jesus told us how to pray in Matthew 6:9,
"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Why not make all your words prayers?
"Cleanse us from secret faults.13Keep back thy servants also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over us: then shall we be upright, and we shall be innocent from the great transgression. 14Let the words of our mouths, and the meditation of our hearts, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, our strength, and our redeemer."
"Search us, O God, and know our heart: try us, and know our thoughts: 24And see if there be any wicked ways in us, and lead us in the way everlasting."
TUNE IN & TURN ON to tomorrow's 'Morning Routine' and we will go ove the 5 Psalms and 1 Proverb and discuss prayer and how our lives will change through it.
As a Life Coach, I am passionate about helping people find those seeds of greatness within themselves that enable them to become the very best version of themselves they can be. In this show I'll be talking about issues we all share, whether it's how to forgive ourselves or someone else for some past transgression, how to move forward after a traumatic event of life crisis or how to find joy in every day moments. My guests come from all walks of life and each has their own perspective on all sorts of topics, so if one show doesn't resonate with you please listen again, I'm sure you'll find a guest and/or a show that does. In my book 'When on the road to enlightenment, don't forget to take out the trash' I show people how to live a more peaceful, purposeful and productive life; it is my hope that this show will expand upon those areas to help people truly be the best they can be.
Perverting the "right way of the Lord" is a terrible transgression, routinely and for many hundreds of years done by frocked priests of apostate Christianity. They shall be thrust down to hell, saith the Lord.
How is the "right way" determined? By revelation through the medium of his legal appointment (the Apostleship) and that revelation not contradicting the Bible and companion revelation received by Israel, the prophets and seers thereof. For the Lord will not speak to the Gentile nations in their wickedness assembled against the Lord and his anointed, nor will he speak to the black race of Cain, but ony to the prophets and seers of Jacob and Judah only, saith the Lord. Any violations of the following law of salvation is regarded as severe regarding salvation and safety in this life and deliverance from death and hell in the world to come.
19 And this greater priesthood administereth the gospel and holdeth the key of the mysteries of the kingdom, even the key of the knowledge of God.
20 Therefore, in the ordinances thereof, the power of godliness is manifest.
21 And without the ordinances thereof, and the authority of the priesthood, the power of godliness is not manifest unto men in the flesh;
22 For without this no man can see the face of God, even the Father, and live.
23 Now this Moses plainly taught to the children of Israel in the wilderness, and sought diligently to sanctify his people that they might behold the face of God;
24 But they hardened their hearts and could not endure his presence...
25 Therefore, he took Moses out of their midst, and the Holy Priesthood also;
26 And the lesser priesthood continued, which priesthood holdeth the key of the ministering of angels and the preparatory gospel. (D&C 84:19-26)

"What does God want from us?"
6 Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Every Saturday night join Rinnah Bat Yisra'el (Donna W. Dixon) of Avondale, Arizona dechiper, words and share her thoughts concerning..... Ha'Shem's Transforming Presence in His People by Torah, and Experience.
Aspects of Mercy. Can it be Good and Bad??
And HaShem passed by before him, and proclaimed: 'The HaShem, HaShem, G-d, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth;
keeping mercy unto the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and unto the fourth generation.'
And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
King James Verson Bible: reading, preaching, songs, prayer.
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and theLord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
Given the recent events in Nigeria, due to the actions of the Nigerian group known as Boko Haraam,we at Critical Discourse have taken it upon ourselves to bring this to the table.
SInce heir inception,some sources stating as far back as 1995,they've been associated with wanton acts of viloence and carnage, But it was the recent abduction of schools girls from the town of Chibok, that has really caused the world to take serious notice, and demand justice.
Notwithstanding the historic dynamics and tensions, much of tribal, that have plauged Nigeria since colonial days, this present crisis brings to the table, the reaction, attitudes and frankly, examination of doctrine of Muslims / Al-Islam.
It is our desire for this show, to clarify what Al-Islam says about such acts; needless to say, they are unacceptable and outright haraam (forbidden).
This crisis opens up the discussion on a number of sensitive issues around the status and dignity of women in and out of Al-Islam, so that the case be made,that their security, dignity and protection are held sacred.
This should prove to be a most engaging and informative airing of Critical Discourse.
