This is the second part of a two-part special about the 9th edition of the infamous Trans Iowa.
Trans Iowa is a self-navigated, self-supported, 300-plus mile gravel road event, which is held in late April primarily on Iowa gravel roads.

Guitar Ted is the man behind the Trans Iowa curtain. He spends countless hours of his own time to concoct one of the toughest races in the country.
Salsa Cycles rider and frequent MBR guest, Tim Ek, will join the show to answer my rookie questions. Guitar Ted will give both me and Tim Trans Iowa knowledge tidbits.
While I have a lot of endurance racing experience, I'm racing Trans Iowa for the first time and have some rookie thoughts and questions and I'm going to pick their brains for the answers.

The Iowa Humane Alliance’s mission is to provide affordable spay/neuter services in the state of Iowa in order to reduce pet over-population, the number of animals entering shelters in the state, and euthanasia of animals due to over-population. They have recently opened the first high-volume, affordable spay/neuter clinic in Iowa. Hear more about their mission with Executive Director Mary Blount and Development Director Kathleen Schoon.

This ruling could have a nationwide impact in particular in the five states where there are laws limiting or forbidding third party PPAs.
